Good Morning Tuesday,Im Alive!!
Hey All,
It's been a while since I've posted; I read a few times a week but am just so busy. Carla, watch that heat exhaustion. When my hubby was blind and then recovering from his transplant, I had to do all of our yard work because I refused to pay a lawn service to do something I thought I could do better and I could; however, one afternoon, I was working my butt off mowing and trimming the yard and I started feeling very weak. By the time I go to the shade where my poor DH was sitting, I said, honey, I think I am going to pass out and he said, where are you and that was it. Bless his heart, he called 911 and started feeling around for me and yelling and talking to the 911 operator and our neighbor and his wife came running and the fire department came and hauled me and blind hubby to the hospital and I ended up in ICU for 24 hours. Needless to say, my neighbor's husband refused to let me mow again. He or my grandkids mowed after that.
Next week I head off to KY to do some AP scoring and then back to my job where I am giving grant writing workshops to my fellow faculty. I am heading to the Middle East in six months and am already on payroll. I cannot wait to get there and begin my adventure.
My hubby's granddaughter is pregnant so we are going to be great-great grandparents. Unfortunately, she is only 16 and we are devastated but we are going to try to help her as much as we can.
Well, I hope you are all happy and healthy and next time, maybe I'll have some good news to report .
