Morning OFF family!!!

Well the nasty weather stopped before it got to us last night! We did have a little bit of heavy rain though. Didn't flood but almost had to get the pump going! Posted a photo on FB that Galion Live had posted on one of the huge tress that came down day before near the park. Today it is 67* sun and clouds. I can live with that!! :-)

Today it is cool enough that Rick is going to make his stuffed pork chops for our supper. :-) Love those! Just have to be careful whle eating them so I don't over do it!!!

My mom's birthday is this week and I have to get her birthday card in the mail tomorrow so she gets it in time. She will be 92! WOW!! She had to get her driver's license renewed this year and she failed the eye test. They are lettingher get her eyes checked at the dr's and come back for another try. Her eye appointment is monday I think she said. I just wish she wouldn't drive anymore. She has scared the hell out of me driving for last several years and at this age she has no business driving at all!! Especially since she almost drove throught the back of the garage a few months ago!!!!!!

Well that is about it on my end. Not much happening. Will be busy this week again doing rent collections and bingo friday for the tenants.

The rain didn't hit here yesterday either.

My neighbor is 90 and blind as a bat and has been totally blind in one eye since I met him.  They took his license a couple years ago, blind and a drinker.  He still is fighting to get his license back and drives into town to the bar anyway.

Just trying to follow my plan and spend most my time on the Lap band and VSG boards these days.  I'm trying to keep my head in the game.  You all know how that is.

Good to see people are doing fairly well.

It wasn't an old post.  This is so weird.  A girl made a new post on the VSG boards and it posted with your header.  Her words with you're avatar and info.  If you click on the like to the thread I gave you, scroll down and you can see you.  Only it is her post and she is baffled that her post showed up showing some one named Connie.

Going to be 90 today! That's too hot for me. Wi**** was 75 during the summer. But not all wishes come true. LOL! Family hair day today, our girl comes to our house and does everyone's hair along with 2 of our friends. That's about it for today.

Good Afternoon Judy, and OFF Sisters,
I just got home from church and grabbed a bite to eat. Met with some deacons as part of becoming a member. It was a wee bit awkward as Colleen's husband is a deacon, and he knew me before I changed from the worst. But, they all green lighted me to present me to the congregation at a business meeting tonight.

I'm babysitting the boys this afternoon and then heading to church tonight.

Hi Judy and my OFF family:

Looks like rain here today. Feels like it in my body. Woke up with a headache. Hoped to get Judy today and then have the day off, but I think I may be going into work instead. We're short-handed because the older guy, Terry, who's 70, has been out with a bad back. Well, geez, I have a bad back, too, but I come to work. Anyway, I'll get Juliette on the way home, I guess.

Feel like I'm in a vise here. Everyone is squeezing me for money I don't have.  My wages got garnished and now I can't make my rent payment, plus I need to come up with $387.20 for a car payment or else. Don't know what I'm going to do. I know, I'm always in these crises. I shouldn't be in this one except for the garnishment. I'm just feeling squeezed. I would have at least been able to make one of these payments without that. Now I can't make either. Ah ****

Excuse my whining. I didn't spend that much on vacation ... just gas up and back and a meal or two. I didn't buy any crap. I have been extremely thrifty lately. I've even sold some stuff. But I can't get enough to pay everything I need to pay. It just stresses me out. 

Judy, congrats to your mom on 92 years. We didn't want my mom to drive either, which is why my brother moved in with her (well, one of the reasons). Now, she won't go out at all. When we sold her car, she was all upset. She can't drive anyway with the way her elbow is bent. And her mental capacity is going down. I hope someone can talk your mom out of driving, too.

     Well, I missed church today. I didn't set my alarm thinking I would get up in time. I like our new pastor. The only problem is he uses such large hand gestures it bothers my poor little brain. I end up closing my eyes for a while. Hope I never fall asleep.

     I am full for June, but concerned for July. Only 8 days scheduled. One of my regulars may be leaving for a few days in the first part of the month. That will help. I had a client that wanted days in May when I was already booked. I gave her the name of another pet sitter I know, Long story short, Betsy forgot her. Now the lady has another sitter, She said she will still use me as her back-up. I'll never recommend Betsy again. I offer Sandy a free weekend to make amends but she said it was not my fault. I still ended up losing the client. Very upsetting.

     My sister, Ellen, is very depressed right now. The antidepressant med is not helping her any. Her med was just changed to a different one. I'm not home enough to give her the support she needs right now. All I can do most of the time is pray and offer to help when I can.

     Speaking of weather, we had our first 100 degree yesterday. No low temps the rest of the week. I should lose weight walking my next client. A handsome Golden named Cochise. He is 3 years old and very active. Must take lots of water on the walks.
