SATURDAY WHAT'S UP????????
Good Evening Judy and Ladies,
My Chrome program wasn't working properly, so I had to switch over to Internet Explorer. In the meantime, Colleen and Trent brought the kids over and did a ton of yardwork. The kids helped me plant flowers in pots outside my front door. I have some plants to put into a garden that Trent worked on. He'll finish the other side soon, I hope.
I've got a killer sinus headache. Plus, I went for a brisk walk, following Isabel and Lincoln on their bikes. So, I'm pretty exhausted.
Must scoot. I'll read everybody's posts now.
Hugs,
Trish

Trish I saw in today's MENARD'S ad they will be having Rose bushes on sale next week along with a 11% rebate...I was planning on getting some anyhow and now this will be even better for me! So guess what I will be doing come tuesday...buying the plants and then planting them!!! ;-) Then next year no more planting much of anything for me!!! :-)
Hope your headache goes away soon!!!
Hello again everyone,
Just popped back on to read the afternoon posts. Glad to see our regulars checked in. Connie, thinking about you and praying for a solution soon, hon. Cindy, I saw the pic of your new bike on FB. Looks pretty good. Can't believe you put that together all by yourself! You go, woman! Eileen, Butch takes a calcium, magnesium, and something else pill all together, too. Like you, I pop pills all day long! Trish, hope your bad headache goes away soon. How fun to plant flowers with your Munchkins. I think I'm missing someone . . . darn. Can't remember.
I have been cleaning like a fiend all day. I hear what you all are saying about having fun, but honestly, this is too good a chance to do things around the house without Benny for us to pass it up. I've been able to clean ceiling fans and window blinds and mop floors, etc. Stuff I normally need to do but can't! Butch is finishing the closet in guest room #5. That room won't be painted, but at least it will be functional by next weekend. I've also stripped all the beds and washed sheets and blankets, etc. Still got to do the bathrooms and Benny's room, but I think that may be tomorrow. This old gal is starting to run out of steam!
Speaking of steam, after all that rain for the past 24 hours, the sun came out this afternoon and you can literally see the ground steaming! Water vapor rising off the side of the hill all around us!
I'm making a list of stuff I need to go pick up at Wal Mart. I know, I said I wasn't going back to Wal Mart after they treated me like a thief the last time, but I guess I'm over it. I need to pick up items for the guest rooms like clothes hangers, waste baskets, tissues, etc. And I need a couple of plastic storage tubs for my crafts and Christie's crafts. Right now we have yarns and cross stitch projects all over the living room. I'll see if maybe Butch feels like going with me and we can just pick up dinner in town. I sure don't feel like cooking supper tonight.
Lots and lots of good wishes and prayers for everyone. Enjoy your Saturday night!
P.S. Okay, I missed Carla and Annette! Annette, I love hats. Chapeaus are very cool. I'll bet you can carry it off with aplomb. Carla, been watching your camping pics on FB. Looks like fun! Enjoy the fish fry. I love fish fry!
