SATURDAY WHAT'S UP????????
Well today will find me busy getting things ready for the BBQ Monday for the tenants here. Hope the weather will remain nice and no rain!!! Yesterday they said isolated thunderstorms!! Now today they said nice. Please stay nice!!!! Atleast til we are all through with our day!!!! We are startingat noon and so far that I know we are having about 30 plus coming!!! Largest crowd yet for the BBQ!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!! :-) Temp is supposed to be about 70* or so and I think that is perfect weather!!!!!!!!! So I think I am going to have the guys set the tables up outside!!!!!!! Unless the weather turns nasty...shhhhhhhh think positive!!!
Our inspection went really well and only had a couple things wrong but not our fault. Wonderful!!! Now waiting on the corrections to be made. :-)
Couple more tenants are moving in and couple more moving out...I can't win!!! The ones moving out are old and need to be in nursing home or with family to care for them. So sad!! Had my nice old lady across from us fall the other day. She broke her shoulder I think. (haven't heard yet from her grandson) She is almost 94 years old and can get around very good!! Just monday she came over with her home made peanut butter fudge for us. She is a sweetheart!! Hope she is home again soon!!!
Started playing games on FB...WHY??????? Now I am addicted to them!!! GRRRRRRRRRR I stop playing and then on tv I hear the sounds from Candy Crush...GRRRRRRR back to the PC and I play some more!!! LOL Guess I need some earplugs!!!!!!
Need to make appointment for Bandit again to get his bath and haircut. I also need to get mine cut again. If I wanted it to grow fast it wouldn't!!! Right now its at the length it just does nothing but hang tight to my head and I hate that!!!
Well nothing much else happening here so best get back to FB and try playing another gme while Rick is still sleeping in this morning. My turn is tomorrow...hahaha yeah right!!!

Vic...glad you are back home again!!! Glad that your daughter is doing ok after her WLS!!! Have to LOL at your hubby and his taking care of Benny!!! Poor guy!!! Lots of bonding they had for sure!!!

Managing to keep one foot in front of the other. Feeling sick all the time. My depression is bad too. I just can't see the end of the tunnel. I just keep praying and doing what I can.

Connie, Hang in there, sweetie! It's the stress that's making you feel depressed and probably making you ache all over, too. Can't you go and stay with Carrie for awhile? I know you want to move there. Is there no place for you at her house?
What about buying a travel trailer and living in that? The rental rates for lots at really nice RV parks are extremely reasonable, and they have laundry facilities and mail pick up and wifi and cable and everything. Perhaps you could find a used RV for sale? Sometimes you can find them for sale already set up permanently in the RV parks. Maybe Carrie and Jamie could help you out with the payments? Just until you can get back on your feet?
Or, I don't know if this is workable or not, but what about being a house sitter? I have a friend who does that. He stays in people's houses while they are on vacation and picks up their mail and newspapers, etc., so it doesn't look like they're gone.
Just keep trying, hon. Something is bound to open up for you soon.

Judy, in answer to your question of "what's up?", I have to say "not up, but DOWN!" OMG! The rain is still falling here. I am NOT complaining. Lord knows we need it. Maybe the lake levels will rise. Last time we tried to put our boat in, the lake was so low we couldn't use our neighborhood boat ramp. Had to drive awhile to find a boat ramp that was deep enough for us to put our pontoon boat in. So the rain is GOOD!
However, I HATE my husband's cell phone. Had no idea he had installed weather alerts on it. Woke us up at 6 a.m. beeping. Flash flood warning. Really? We live in the hill country and it is raining. We could have figured that one out on our own.
(But see how long it's been since we had a significant rain event here? 2 years and we've never heard it beep the alarm before!)
Anyway, the good news is that Chris and Benny are out of town for the weekend! They went to Houston for a birthday party, so Butch and I have the house to ourselves for a change. Ahhhh. How nice!
The bad news is that we have company coming in one week and I need to get this place cleaned up and ready! So a busy day for me today. Got to clean while my little Benny Bop is out of the way.

Judy, at least you have hair!! The only reason I haven't shaved the entire mess is the M&M's don't know yet and I don't want to appear at Melanie's dance recital today ... BALD. I will be wearing one of my new hats though. Have fun at you big bash.
Vickie - I am always happy for rain too. We have a well that often runs dry. No City water in the country. You and Butch enjoy your alone time. Don't behave, have FUN.
I run four more support group meetings then hand it over to another couple. The group has been my "baby " for 6 1/2 years - sniff. The couple taking over are Wonderful and will be better than I could hope for. It is time for a fresh approach and new leadership. Not to mention it takes me days to recover from the meeting. Shh, don't tell anybody.
Nectarines are ripe, oh yeah! This craving for fresh fruit and veggies is out of control. A good out of control but weird. The heavy duty steroids make me hungry for unusual things. Kind of like pregnancy cravings -> Not a Chance

Sorry you are giving up your support group meetings but if it takes alot out of you right now you do it for now!!! As for the cravings you are having...eat my dear friend!!!! Besides what you are craving is not bad for you now is it?? ;-)
