Good Morning on this Friday, May 24, 2013!
Good Morning, All. Hope everyone slept well and woke rested this morning.
Today is a busy day for us. We have Agility with our dog, Logan, today. He loves Agility. My hubby has been working with him for the last couple of years to get him to respond to commands and run the course off-leash. This last class was the first one that he ran the course perfectly, off-leash, on graduation night. It was exciting to watch and gratifying for my hubby to see Logan do so well.
After that, hubby has an acupuncture treatment (for migraines). I think he's going to stop going for these treatments because he doesn't really see a good result from them. There are so many triggers for his migraines that it's hard to tell. Meanwhile, he gets his second Botox injections in July. We are waiting to see how much effect that set of injections has. He was told that it takes a couple sets of injections to see maximum benefit.
After that, we have a trip to the vet.
In there somewhere, we'll stop at Starbucks and get coffee (one of our favorite things to do).
Have a good day.

Good Morning Cindy and OFF-
You're up very early. Love the story about Logan. What kind of dog is it? I have a young friend who has a border collie that would be wonderful in Agility.
I'm headed 35 north to the big "city" to go to the chiropracter. I have one rib that is out of whack. It doesn't hurt except when I'm laying in bed. Hopefully he can get it back into place and I'll be able to sleep without the pain interruption.
Yesterday I was very productive. Got the bedroom in the little camp cleaned up from the new flooring dust. Started putting totes into the closets. Just have the living room and other bedroom to straighten up. I have guests arriving soon, so the priority is the little camp, then the big house. Spent some time in the garden cutting back all of last year's peony stalks. I left early in the fall before the frost hit so I didn't cut them back in the fall. Also uncovered some of the porch furniture and started putting cushions on the wrought iron furniture. Moved the kayak off the front porch into the yard. Another thing to accomplish this summer will be learning to use the kayak.
The big accomplishment of the day was assembling the elliptical machine that arrived yesterday. The directions said it takes two people but I was able to put it together without any assistance. It's a recumbent machine to spare my lower back. I'll now be able to ellip while watching morning TV. At the moment, the machine will be in the living room, no other place to put it. I'm crammed into two cabins that total 1700 square feet having come from 3000 square feet. I've gotten rid of a lot of furniture but you still accumulate stuff. I've been in the cabins for 10 years now.
I've had regain this winter. Fell into many of my old comfort food habits. Leaving that behind now and commited to losing the regain over the summer.
Positive thoughts to all in need, especially Connie. Connie, I have the spare cabin if you want to come to Maine. My only concern would be the mold that abounds in the woods here, I'd worry about your COPD.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi, Cindi. Logan is an Australian Labradoodle. What we've seen in the couple of years we've been to Agility is that most dogs are reluctant at first but then grow to love it. Some dogs really fly over the courses. Logan is one of those.
Your cabin setting sounds absolutely wonderful. I've never been to Maine but I understand that the beautfy of the area is stunning.

Good Morning Cindi, Cindy and OFF Sisters,
I would be interested in getting my Utley into agility training He would probably do well. What kind of dog is Logan?
I had a project last night. Brought my summer clothes up from the basement and packed my sweaters and winter things in the bins. Hanging everything up, and putting the bins in my spare bedroom was a big project.
Today, I have to go get blood drawn. Then, I am continuing to work on tidying and getting things better organized.
Have to scoot to the lab.
Hugs and Prayers,
Trish

Good Morning, Trish. Logan is an Australian Labradoodle. He is a medium sized dog (about 35 lbs). There are lots of different breeds in our Agility class. Logan is a very social dog and part of what is so fun about going to class is watching him be so excited to see his little dog buddies. The other fun thing is watching him fly over the course. He loves doing it and he's very fast. There is one dog that is a cross between a beagle and a pug and that dog is the fastest one in our class. It always takes first place for speed and flawlessness on graduation nights. The dog loves Agility soooooo much that it barks the whole times it's running over obstacles. Her owner is a 75 year old lady who loves doing it as much as the dog does. Anyway, going to Agility is an enjoyable experience for us and we are always happy to see a new term start.

Good morning Cindy and everyone.....

Hi Cindy and my OFF family:
I'm up early this morning because I have my mammogram scheduled. But I'm really sleepy ... my coffee hasn't kicked in at all. I see a nap in my future today before I go to work. Yawn!
We had a busy night at work. I was doing sports and most of my copy came in after 10:30 p.m. (deadline is 11:15 p.m.). I had to really hustle. Amazingly, I got my pages out at 11:20. Not too shabby. And my tummy was bothering me, so when I got home, I just had a protein bar and some peppermint tea. I was hungry, but didn't want to eat much. Went to bed somewhat early but still too tired this morning. I'm waiting for the caffeine to take effect.
Cindy, I hope your hubby gets some help for his migraines. They can be horrible, I know.
Connie, I'm glad to see you again. I hope you can find a new place to live soon. I wish I could help you, but I'm a slob too with a cat. That wouldn't help you at all. If I could, I would. I know two people who live in St. Cloud, but both have cats. Stay in touch ... we all love you.
I know Cindi and Trish posted, but I can't remember what they said ... sorry. I'm spacy this morning. I need to get in the shower and get ready to go. Have a good day.
Good morning Cindy P and all my OFF sistas!
Oh, I am happy to be home again, although I have to tell y'all: it feels like I stepped into utter chaos last night! After being gone for 2 weeks, you can just imagine what my house looks like. And I've got company coming in one week. Time to roll up my sleeves and get busy. Every room needs attention big time.
I had to laugh at my husband this morning. He informed me that it is MY turn to watch the baby. After 2 weeks of babysitting on his own, he's a LOT more sympathetic to my pleas for him to stay home and HELP ME. He told me, "I just can't get anything done with Benny around." Oh really??? Imagine that! LOL!
I love all my new little bits of furniture I found at the consignment store yesterday. It all works just great in here. Wish I could have gotten all my curtains made, but oh well . . . Also wish I could have gotten all the painting done, but oh well . . . At least I have new floors and blinds, right? Butch is working on the new front door, but I have my doubts he will get it finished in time. He's building me those sidelights that I can open with screens on them. Can't wait until he gets that finished.
Well, lots to do today, so I need to get going. Read all the posts, but won't take the time to respond individually today. Just know that I love you all!
