Beautiful spring day in Owosso!
Good Morning Off friends!
I'll take these kind of days any time! I'm getting flower planting fever as hubby calls it! but its still frosting here so have to wait another week.
We are heading up north Memerial day weekend for a weeks vacation. mostly camping out in family and friends yards but its a atime to spend with family and friends and see my new baby!!! a new baby niece 5 weeks old and I havent got my hands on her yet! Selah Ann cant wait!
hope all of you are having as lovely a day as I am weatherwise and am praying for all facing difficulties what ever they are . those doing cancer treatment extra prayers going up from our house. What courage you have to fight. I honestly dont know if I could face treatment or not. I wouldn't know unless I face It.

Well we have checked out of our hotel and are back at the clinic for the final visit. Carrie is so looking forward to getting the drain out today. I cannot tell you all how well she is doing! Oh to be young again, eh? Anyway after the clinic we have to face the ordeal of crossing the border. They say it can take 2-3 hours! After that its a 5 hour flight home. This will be a very long day. But I am so ready to be home again. I miss my husband something fierce. Looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight. Love you all!

Hello Vickie....I am so happy to hear how well things are going for Carrie!! You are right...youth is on her side!! I am praying your crossing the boarder goes quickly and all goes well with that. Also praying your flight home goes well. I am sure being home once again will feel just great!! I am sure you are missing the rest of your family...especially Butch! Benny's little hugs and kisses will feel wonderful too!!!

Jo....I wish I had a place to have a few flowers....I sure miss that! Sounds like you will have a fun Memorial Weekend being with family and friends. It doesn't get any better then that!!
This is the first day this week with no appointments. It has been a crazy week!! I intend on working on my puzzle and not much else!!
I finished the book my daughter gave me to read. It was really good. Sad but very interesting. It sure kept my interest! It is called "The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls. She also wrote "Half Broke Horses" which I have read too. These are true stories of her life. She has a third book coming out soon. I look forward to reading it as well. What an amazing woman!
Nic text me this morning. He is taking me to dinner and an "Alan Jackson" concert in August!! He knows how much I love Alan and haven't been to one of his concerts in years!! What a wonderful grandson...he loves his Nana!! I am so excited. Seeing Alan will be great but spending special time with Nic will be equally as wonderful! I am blessed to have such caring grandchildren!!

Not much going on here. Got out and did grocery shopping this morning ... I didn't have much in the house at all. I'm making an effort to eat healthier. I started using MyFitnessPal and boy, was I over yesterday. Didn't realize how much I was eating. So I'm logging everything I eat.
Vickie, I'm glad Carrie is doing so well. I remember those early days.
Connie, glad you and Nic will go to this concert together. I know how you enjoy spending time with Nic.
