Cindi....So glad you finally posted. Sorry you are having such a hard time. Glad everything was benign. I am sure your friends understood the melt down you had. You are dealing with so much right now. HUGS!!!
Vickie....I know you needed the rain....sorry the winds were so strong they caused damage to your plants and flag. So glad you are enjoying the YMCA!! I sure hope you can find a better deal on hearing aids too! How do you get in all your protein each day? I have to have protein every meal or I won't be getting the required 80 grams a day. I haven't had cereal or oatmeal for over 5 years. I am not allowed milk anyway...my surgeon says it is empty calories...I sure miss that too. Every now and then I buy a pint and sip on it here and there...YUM!

Karen...red is my color too. Your surgery is only a little time away now. I am so happy for you!! I am so jealous of all you ladies and all the crafting you do!!!

I am having an okay day. Having problems with my internet service all week. A tech came out today. It is my modem just like I told them all week!! They are mailing me a new one. Praying it comes soon....by Monday anyway!! If I am not on for a few days then you know I lost my internet. I do get internet on my phone but is a lot harder to post on there. My back feels so good...I am so happy!!! I can walk and bend without pain....YAY!! I have an appointment soon with my Physical Therapist and my Pool Therapist....looking forward to that!!

My doctor said I didn't have to do the 80 grams of protein a day after the first year. He said after that 50 grams was sufficient. But I start every day with a protein drink which has 20 grams. I eat the oatmeal or the shredded wheat almost every morning with fruit. The fiber helps move things along, if you know what I mean. I don't eat much meat anymore. I do try to eat beans or kale or peas several times each week. I might do a veggie lunch or a veggie supper, and then have a little meat at the other meal. I do eat cheese and peanut butter and yogurt and cottage cheese, too. I try very hard to stay away from all baked goods, but I'm having a hard time with bread right now. Just want to eat it all the time! And dammit, I seem to sneak in a bite of candy or cookie every evening. Right now Jr. Mints are my "drug" of choice. LOL! But at least I haven't had a Coke in over 2 years. I don't even have one in the house. I drink water almost exclusively now.
Anyway, I hope you get your internet working again with no more problems. And I'm still SO HAPPY that your back pain has gone away! That's wonderful for you, hon.
