HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!
Sitting here freezing today...really!! It is chilly outside and not inside as well!! 45* here...supposed to go down to 31* tonight so have to cover up my tomato plants so they don't get frost on them! Come on its May!!! Gez!!! Got the money to go buy flowers for the complex but with this freeze not sure where to put them until its over with. So that shopping spree will have to wait til later on I think.
Nothing planned today except staying inside doing nothing. Hate going outside anymore with all the tenants gossipping about one thing or another because of the old man stirring up trouble. My boss will be here hopefully tomorrow to talk to him and MAYBE get him back on track again with how things are around here. Now he is threatening to hit Rick with his cane if he comes near his apartment! Now how is Rick supposed to fix the fan over the stove if he can't come near his apartment? The joys of being manager...LOL.
Got some red roses yesterday from Rick. WOW sure are pretty and they smell so nice!!! Love them and Rick!!!
Well I think I better figure out what to have for supper today. Not going out to eat as the service is either bad or the food or both usually. So why bother. Guess we can BBQ something. Sobetter get it out of the freezer to thaw out. Maybe pork chops. That sounds good.

Hi my OFF family:
It's chillier here, too, only 60. I've been having this pain in my lower back for the past three days, above my waist on the left side. I can't get anything to work that will make it feel better. It hurts when I breath even. Ice, heating pad, etc., .... nothing seems to work. I think I'll call the doctor tomorrow and see if I can get in. Don't know if it's a back issue or a UTI. All I know is it hurts. I think I'll stop and pick up some cranberry juice just in case it's a UTI. I've been drinking lots of water as usual but still am in pain.
Talked with my mom this morning. She finally had the beautician stop in and cut her hair. Gary says it looks much better, but next time they need to get her a perm. He said at least she doesn't look so old now.
Well, not much else is new. I got to get ready for work soon. I'm tired and not feeling all that well but off to work I go. I'll muddle through somehow.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day! I agree with many of you, going out to a restaurant is just no fun on a holiday - so crowded and service is usually not good. I went over to my lovely daughter Ashley's house and she and her BF made chicken parmesean which was wonderful. I had a tiny piece, but so delicious! She got me lovely flowers, a gift card and a beautiful candle, so I am such a happy mom today. Always enjoy spending time with my girl. Came home to my 3 kitty babies and am just relaxing for the rest of the day.
I'm sorry so many of you are having poor weather. It's 84 and sunny here in Northeast Florida, so just a beautiful day all around. But don't be too jealous......in another month it will be scorching outside and we won't see cooler weather until sometime in November!
