Saturday- it's the weekend!!
Carolyn, I'll be happy to list you as our referral for Dr. Ortiz. So far, I don't think they've asked me about a referral, but I'll try really hard to remember to tell them. My daughter is so excited. I'm excited for her, too. I'll post again next week after we get back and tell all about her experience there, but I'm sure it's going to be a good one.
Hi Nancy and my OFF family:
I'm spacing out. I thought I posted earlier but I didn't. Duh. Glad you had your feral cats spayed and neutered. Kittens are fun, but too many aren't good. You are a responsible cat parent.
It was raining earlier today and chilly. Now the sun is trying to peek out. Don't know whether to keep a light on or not.
Last night was hectic at work ... most of the sports stuff was late, so I was slapping stuff on pages at 10 p.m. or later. Got done by 11:30 or 11:35 p.m. (deadline is 11:30 p.m. ... I think my last page went out at 11:35). Couldn't help it that the last page was a bit late ... everything was coming in late. Plus, on the news side, there was a softball team's bus that rolled over in Kentucky on the way to a game. 25 kids injured, nothing life threatening, but still scary stuff.
Sorry you are having bone pain again, Nancy. Wish you could be pain free. Me too. Now I'm having pain on the left side of my lower back ... not in my butt area, but higher, near my waist. I'll probably call the doctor on Monday if it's still there and my own treatment hasn't helped. I've been alternating heat and ice and taking vicodin for it. It's better today (and I've been drinking lots of water as usual in case it's a UTI ... I'm going to get some cranberry juice too).
Just got done watching some "All My Children" episodes on Hulu.com ... love that show and so glad it's back, although I wish I could watch it for free on TV. I may get hulu plus some time but can't afford it right now. So I'll jus****ch it on the computer.
Well, got to get in the shower. Don't remember who else posted. Got CRS (can't remember ****). Have a good day.
Good morning/afternoon Nancy and everyone....
I had posted replies to everyone and then my computer went off line again. I will try to remember a few things I posted ...I don't mean to forget anyone....this will be the brief version.

Good afternoon sistas!
I've been trying to get on here to post all day. Maybe I'll catch a few minutes this time!
On the subject of cruises, Butch and I have cruised with Princess three times. The first time was fabulous. It was for our 20th anniversary and we had a ball. So much so that we decided to go again two years later and again, it was great. Both of those were 7 day cruises and we had balcony cabins. So then, after another two years, we booked a 10 day cruise, and to save a little money, we decided to try an inside cabin. OMG. Never again! It was a miserable experience. We really have no desire to go cruising again, but if we ever do, I won't go unless we have a balcony cabin.
So this morning we took the whole family to the Y. It was Christie and Benny's first time there. Benny was a little shy at first, but then he warmed up in the kid's playroom and didn't want to leave. I rode the recumbent bicycle again and this time I upped the resistance a little. Whew! I rode 5.5 miles in my 30 minutes and let me tell you, I was sweatin'! Up and down those "hills" was tough! Then I walked another 1/2 mile on the treadmill just to make an even 6 miles for today. Afterwards, we all got in the pool. That was fun! Then we came home and we all crashed. Nap time for Benny turned into nap time for all of us! LOL!
This evening I'm doing laundry and trying to think what to pack for our trip to Mexico next week. I don't want to have to check a bag with the airline, so I'm having to be pretty tight with my packing.
Today is Carrie's 31st birthday. My, oh, my. Where have the years gone? She will be driving down from Waco tomorrow and we'll celebrate her birthday and Mother's Day all together. I hope all of you have a great Mother's Day tomorrow, either with your own mom or as the special honoree herself! Pet moms count, too!
Love you all!
Vickie....Happy Birthday to Carrie!! What a great birthday gift....a new and beautiful life!!
I am just so happy for her!!
I will be keeping both of you in my prayers as you travel through this journey.
So happy your whole family went to the "Y" together. You are doing great!!
I am sure Benny loves it at the "Y" too!!!
Love and more hugs....connie d
