Weary Wednesday
Hi Trish and my OFF family:
I am being basically lazy today ... other than doing laundry. My body is feeling lousy. Hurts all over.
I had a dental appointment yesterday (cleaning and a checkup) ... no problems for once! Then I took my boss to the drugstore to pick up his prescriptions and other stuff, then to the cleaners to pick up his laundry ... he is a real bachelor (he has a lot of dress shirts and doesn't believe in doing his own ironing). So I have his clean shirts and stuff in the back of my car. I'll bring them over on Thursday before I go to work.
By the time I headed home, it was pouring rain, a torrential downpour. I got drenched just walking from my car to the door (and that's not a far walk). I didn't even stop to get my mail, it was raining so hard.
So I'm being a slug today. Nothing but laundry, maybe a few other things online that I need to take care of. Watch a ballgame this afternoon, one tonight.
Oh, yesterday afternoon, two cop cars pulled up here and it seemed they were evicting the noisy neighbors ... one cop car actually blocked in my car ****il I came out and the one cop said, "Is that red car your car, ma'am?" I said yes, and he moved it.). My landlord's truck was here, so I think that's what was going on. The cops actually stood in the door a long time. Their (neighbor's) car was gone when I got back.

Hello sweet sistas!
I was going to post a couple of hours ago, but got interrupted, and I'm just now getting back to it. Weary Wednesday is a good way to describe today, Trish! I am very weary this afternoon.
We had a busy morning. Went to "Muffins with Mom" this morning at pre-school; it was their little Mother's Day celebration. Then we went into town for Butch to have his CT scan. They injected dye into his arm and I guess he had a poor reaction to it. Within a couple of hours, he was feeling bad. Won't know the test results for a couple of days. But we did get the results of his bloodwork back, and it was not good. His PSA is way up. That means he'll have to go back on the hormone treatments for his prostate cancer again.
Anyway, we both got a headache while we were out and about, and have pretty much crashed for the afternoon. I watched a movie with Benny while Butch took a nap, but I can tell he still feels pretty lousy. I would like to take a nap now, but it's too late in the afternoon I think. I would never get to sleep tonight.
Tomorrow he has an appt at the hearing aid place for an evaluation (remember, we're trying to get all of this done before he retires and we lose our good health insurance) at 9 a.m. Then we've got to go to Gruene to pick up an antique dresser that we bought there. Oh, I just love it! It's the perfect size for the guest room. It's very unique and the price was better than just right--under $100! Are you kidding me? You can't find any furniture for under $100 bucks anymore.
Then tomorrow afternoon the window cleaner is supposed to come. Hope we make it this time! It's our second attempt.
Anyway, I hear Benny crying in the back yard. I'd better go see what's going on. Love you all!
