Its Sunday!Where Is Everyone!!!!!
Its 0903 Where is everyone? I just woke my tired butt up!!!!! Its still dreary here in North Carolina!!!!! I heard the sun isnt coming home till Tuesday cause mother nature forgot to pay him for what he was worth!!!!!!!
Carl finaly found his keys under the bed!!!!!! i wonder who put them there!!!!! A certain Bentley!!!!!!
Well I need to go upstairs to see what my patient is doing!!!!!!

Morning Carla...I got up about 830 today finally got to sleep in some today for a change! Then I colored my hair..had alot of gray in it so it had to be done...this time I did it a medium golden chestnut brown. Love it!!! Now it needs to be cut again!!! Seems to grow so fast!!! GRRRRR!!! Maybe a pixie cut this time not sure. See what happens.
Went to a gun show yesterday and saw a re-enactment of the war...awesome!!! Cannons going off and all that...pretty cool to see!!!! People walking around in costume and carrying their drums and guns and cooking outside and tents and it was just amazing....it was something I had never been to and glad we went!!! Sure is nice to have a guy that will do things with me!! Gary never wanted to do anything unless it involved going to a bar!!!! Glad those days are over with!!! Always a joy being with Rick...never a dull moment with him!!! :-)
Nothing planned for today except sitting aound doing nothing but relaxing!! All that walking around yesterday has me plum tuckered out!!! Not used to all that fresh air and cement I guess!! LOL
I see the temp is now up to 60* here and the sun is out so that makes me happy...yes it does!!! One thing that is making me mad is this dam keyboard I have!!! Its been a pain ever since I got this PC!!! I type and some of the letters do not show up!!! I have to pay attention and go back and put them in!!! GRRRRRRRRRR so a new key board is in my future I guess!!! Should have taken it back when I bought it huh? Oh well.
Anybody here have STRAIGHT TALK for their cell phone? Do you like it? Hate it? Thinking of getting it when my VERIZON contract runs out.
OK time to make Rick some breakfast. ;-)

Judy, I am so glad you have Rick beside you! I know he is a great guy and he's so good to you.
We are having a low key morning. I woke up early with the start of a headache, but I got up rather than lay there and let it develop. So I've been up several hours now, but the rest of my crew slept late. It's still chilly here, but slowly warming up. At least the sun is out and it's a beautiful day. Wish I had more flowers to plant! LOL!
I've been working on crocheting these caps. Got Morgan's cap made yesterday. It's bright yellow with a big red flower, since Nan said Morgan's favorite colors were yellow and red. I made a bright orange one this morning which Benny also wanted. That little stinker. He thinks everything in the house belongs to him.
I made those grilled shrimp again last night, and I've got to tell y'all--that new marinade is just the best! I grew up on the coast and have been eating shrimp all my life, but I do believe these are the best shrimp I have ever had. I'm going to post the recipe on a separate post. If you love shrimp, you have got to try these.
Also, I tried a new trick yesterday for washing berries (and all fruits and veggies), and I hope it works. You add a cup of white vinegar to a sink full of clean cool water and dump all your berries in to soak for 10 minutes. Then you dip them out, but don't rinse. Blot dry on paper towels and refrigerate. Supposedly this will kill the bacteria that causes methane gas, which is what makes your fruit spoil, even in the frig. I did a big box of strawberries and blueberries yesterday. I'll let you all know if it works.
Butch and I are still playing in the yard, so I'd better get my work clothes on. We might take the boat out this afternoon if it warms up enough.

Judy....you are a lucky lady...you have a good man that treats you right!! I am glad you enjoyed the reenactment....we went to those many times. They are always fun and so interesting.
Vickie....hope you headache goes away. Glad the weather is better there and you can do more work in your yard. I would love to be sitting outside in the sunshine!! I am sure Morgan will love her cap....hope to see pics of your work some time....they sound adorable!!
I am feeling so much better today...almost pain free!! I think I may try to go to a movie or something to get out of the house. The sun is trying to peak out today. I hope it does at some point.
