Good Morning From North Carolina!

It is a gloomy day here! trying to rain I think! I got here on Monday. My friend advanced to the cane the other day a week out of surgery of having a knee replacement!!!! Maybe we will try going outside today!!!!

Oh man I got something stuck in my pouch the other day and I thought the world was going to end!  I forgot what the foamies was and having problems were and what a reality check that was!  My tool does work!!!!!  I called mt Dr office yesterday and talked to the nurse practititioner for s bit!  A day of jello, Upped my prednisone, and food rest got what ever to go down! 

Now they want me to have a endoscopy!!!! so Ill talk to my pcp and get referal cause I cant fly to Denver right now cause I have to be available for liz. 

Sorry had to cut the first ine short, The Ipad  only lets u type so much!!!! Anyway type on Ill check thru the day! I need to go upstairs and check up in my patient!!!!!!

Morning all!

Been having a hard time with my arthritis in my back and bursitis in my hip and shoulders. The weather is hot here it's cooler today from 96 down to a big 93!! Suppose to be in the seventies by Sunday. Just taking it easy which I hate, I have so much to do. But, if I don't my body will protest and I don't want to make it worst.

Krissy has her junior prom on Sat. she is so excited. I hate seeing the kids grow up. I know that's there job and it'll happen with or without me. I guess I'm starting to get empty nest syndrome. LOL!!

Carla...sorry about your pouch experience. Guess every now and then it reminds us who is really in charge!! Hope you feel better soon.

Debbie....sorry you are having so much pain. I can sure relate with that!! Praying you get some relief soon. I would love to be sitting outside enjoying those 90 degree temps. 33 here right now...high of 42 and and rain on the way. I want sunshine!!!

I can't remember who else posted...so sorry! I don't mean to forget anyone.

I am not doing much again today. I friend is going to run a errand for me. Just too much pain today to leave the house.

Good Afternoon Carla and my OFF Family,

Sorry, Connie, I wasn't able to post yesterday.  I was out, playing with the grandchildren, all day.  Came home, and before I knew it, the Phillies game was on my computer all evening.  

This morning, I was watching the boys for Colleen, while she volunteered in Izzy's classroom teaching reading groups.  Franklin is late with his walking.  He doesn't pull himself up yet, or get down on his own.  He'll stand, and play with his music table, or toy piano, and walk along the furniture, if you stand him up.  He'll get it.  One of my boys, I think Christopher, didn't walk till after his first birthday either.  

I did some yard work when I got home this morning.  I started cleaning up twigs and leaves.  We've had gorgeous weather so far this week.  I have flower seedlings to plant a little later in the month.  I do need to purchase some annuals.  Most of my seedlings are perennials.  I also want to plant a small vegetable garden.  I know I want tomato plants, and possibly cucumbers, or green beans, or both.

I need to buy a lawn mower.  I think I'll get that tomorrow.  Grass is getting deep.

Sorry about your pouch ... hope all is well. My IBS is kicking up on me. Wow, that's great about your friend. She's doing better than I did.

My doc wants me to have a sleep study, so I scheduled a consultation with a doc here. I have to get my records from Michigan. 

Last night was a ***** at work. There were things that had changed in the job description for the Henderson paper and nobody told me. So I was constantly catching up. Just didn't do well. Plus, didn't feel well. Glad that night is over. Hope my tummy calms down enough for me to go to work tonight. Really don't feel well right now but we are so shorthanded I don't think it's a good idea to call in sick. 

Well, have a good day. I need to get in the shower.

Hello sweet sistas!

This has been an extremely long day of running errands for us, and I am pooped!  We are ordering a pizza for supper tonight.  On top of that, it is frickin' COLD here today!  I have been freezing all day long.  Temps in the 40's in MAY in SOUTH TEXAS???  Unheard of! 

Wanted to be sure and tell y'all about Butch's follow-up with the ortho surgeon today.  He says Butch is doing great and recommends (strongly!) that he start going to the gym 4-5 times a week.  So we've talked about it and I think we're going to join the Y in New Braunfels together.  Hurray!  I need it just as badly as he does.  I'm excited about doing this.  We have never exercised together in all our 32 years.  This is going to be interesting!

We had a great time on the water yesterday.  We decided to go upstream through the beautiful Guadalupe River, which feeds into Canyon Lake.  Never have had the time to explore it before.  It is a gorgeous stretch of river, with lots of multi-million dollars homes along parts of it, and deep canyon walls along other parts.  We just took our time and putt-putted along.  We must have gone 5 miles before we turned around.  I told Butch I felt like Katherine Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart in The African Queen!  LOL!  Pics on FB if you want to see.

Of course yesterday, it was in the 90s and HOT.  Today it is in the 40s and COLD.  Go figure.
