Hello??

Where is everyone?  I mean it's noon and I'm the first one here??  This is highly unusual!

Worked this morning testing and now home to tutor for 4 hours.  I think I just need a ME day to do fun things.  Got my purse cut out yesterday evening and I want to sew!!!

Hi Karen and my OFF family:

Don't know where everyone is today. It's afternoon already here. I go back to work tonight. Slept well so I'm good. Back's a little ouchy, though. 

I keep seeing photos of the area near home in the Chicago area that's all flooded. Wonder what's going on with my mom's home. She's not that close to the river, but not that far, either. I guess they've had a lot of rain there.

As for me....I am having reactions to the injection I had on Tuesday. Still have a headache and slight fever and am in pain from the exam. Little by little it is improving.I am supposed to be driving to Iowa Saturday morning. We are still having snow and will yet through Friday. I pray I can still go. I don't want to miss Nic's birthday! Not planning much for today....just reading and relaxing.

Special prayers to all in Texas involved in the explosion there....so sad!

I had a busy morning, and am just settling down.  I walked Utley before we got some rain.  I also mopped my kitchen and bathroom floors, and then vacuumed my living room.  I need to buy a long extension cord to plug my small freezer in that is in my garage.  I have a slew of boxes of Girl Scout cookies to put in there, plus the grocery store here in town is having a meat sale, and I want to get some stuff.

I heard about a bad explosion in West Texas.  I wonder how close that is to Vickie, and others in Texas.  I hope they're all okay.

I got my iron infusion yesterday, and am only feeling a little bit better.  I hope I feel stronger sooner.  I could fall asleep right now.

Must get going.

I am leaving again on the 28th for North Carolina to help a dear friend. She is having her knee replaced on Monday. Ill probably be there a week.

HI OFF family...been busy here 81* windy as heck!!! WOW!!! Could see gusts as much as 50mph they said or more...looks like the rain could miss us which I hope it does!!!!!!

Lowes called said our order is in and we could come pick it up. HUH??????? Its supposed to be delivered!!!!!!! She looked again and said oh yes I see that now. I said Yes monday if not sooner........she said she would tell them. Never heard another word from them. Looks like monday it will be. Oh well.

Called Time Warner Cable again. Looks like someone is tampering AGAIN with the cable box on the outside of building. This time I also called police got their opinion as to what they thought. Did they also think what we did...drugs?????? Possible. Told me to call cable and have them do something different on box so we would KNOW for sure IF it really is being tampered with! OK. So this morning I was on the phone with these "Peggy" people trying to get them to understand me for a change...lol. They had to get someong else...LMAO!!!!!!!!!! Finally someone that spoke ENGLISH & UNDERSTOOD it as well!!!!!!! Pay Dirt!!!!! YES!!!!! They will have someone here tuesday to check ALL the outside boxes and put a lock on them also!!! :-) Never mess with Judy!!! HAHAHAHAAA!!!!

Well its time to go sign the books at the VFW for the drawing tonight so best get off here and go do that.
