Yep, that's how Sam's works, too. I buy paper products, cleaning and laundry supplies, and meats there. I don't have the pantry or freezer space here at the lake as I did at my big house, so I don't buy much else. And you're absolutely right about the impulse buying!!! You can get yourself into big trouble with that! LOL!

Yep, I'm starting to feel like i need blinders to go to the store sometimes. AND FB.... I am going nuts with all the food posts there. I told some of my friends that I was (and did) unfriend them because I just don't need to see all that right now. I LOVE chocolate but if I can stay away from i I do OK... if it is around well, poo I just don't have the self control!
I also had my moring protein drink and get this, went to jury duty, half day, worked half day and came home to eat, sit down and sew! May finally get my purse made!! Yeah!

Hi Cindy and my OFF family:
I had lots of problems sleeping last night, then woke up with a headache. It's overcast and 80, so I think we're in for more rain today .. we had storms yesterday afternoon (or early evening). Anyway, I was in pain most of the early morning and that kept me up. I watched a lot of stuff I had recorded, tried to read, played some computer solitaire. Finally fell asleep at about 6 a.m. and got up at 10 when the phone rang. The headache is gone but I still feel crappy ... not much planned other than running out to pick up my glasses. Back to work tomorrow.
I know all about carb cravings ... that's why I'm starting from the beginning again. So yesterday I get a package from a friend of mine (former coworker) in Michigan ... and there's two packages of dark chocolate. Got to fini**** before I go on this diet or bring them into work or something. Only had four pieces last night. I may have to bring them into work. Can't have them in the house when I start over.

Oh Eileen, I do so knw what you mean about not having some things in the house!!! I know ther are things I am going to have to get rid of and slowly but surely we are going through the cabinets. I told my husband we needed to box up everything and take it to the local food pantry. But then my sis in law wanted us to bring the meat in our freezer out to her... I told her you know we have to eat between now and surgery!! Yikes! Anyway I applaud you for choosing to start over and will support you anyway I can!!

Before I had my surgery, I packed everything I had in my house and brought it in to work. Everyone had a field day. This included frozen stuff I put in the freezer upstairs (and then let certain people know so they could get the dinners). I even had diet pop, because I couldn't have that for awhile. Lots of people pick stuff up and enjoyed all the snack food and stuff I had.
Sorry I'm so late today. I had an 8:45 appointment for an iron infusion. Prior to getting the iron I had to get an IV of steroids and Benadryl, in case I develop an allergic reaction to the iron.infusion. I then got hooked up to a huge bag of iron. It was 3:00 when I got unhooked from the IV. I came home and ate my lunch, and now I'm wondering if the weather will hold out so I can take Utley for a walk.
Tonight I watch my Phillies game.

Evening OFF family!!!! well we went to a place called Willard today to help the managers there move some hoarders to a new apartment so they could get their old apartment fixed!!! OMG I have seen hoarders on TV and now I have seen it in real life!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!! They do NOT know where to begin at all!!! We moved their big heavy things and they now have 10 days to get the rest of their things out on their own or they lose it all. We are all betting they stop right were we left off...so sad too. This complex was offered to us along with the one we have now...not sure we want it. Would rather just keep what we have now. Happy doing what we have. People are friendly and all but to me it is more like a nursing home...not my idea of a place I would like to be going to.
Getting another big check in the mail for push mowers and weed trimmers. More NEW equipment for the guys!! For me...I get money for my flowers to plant!!! WOOOHOOO!!!!! I also got my paint for my office!!! Sweet!!!!!!! Now to find time to get that painted!!! Maybe this weekend. :-)
Clouds are coming in sun is now gone...67* supposed to be 80* tomorrow storms possible then a cold front I heard. Just great!!! Will spring ever get here????????
Well Bandit needs to go out again so best get him out. Rick is gone to Jason's having a beer or two or three....so its me and my dog all alone...lol.
