TGIFRIDAY!

Afternoon Ladies!

Looks like we have avery busy bunch of girls today!!  I had another great day of testing today and will try and do some more next week.  After planning around Jury Duty and Harvey's day off next friday and getting everything in my book, I get a call from the specialist to stop what I was doing and go to yet another school to test and observe a student who is apperently creating havoc.  Trashed my schedule for next week and have to start all over again, but such is the life of a contract person I guess.  The weather is BEAUTIFUL here today.  High 60's low 70's, sunshine and a breeze, WOW Spring is finally here!

Need to go score the four tests I have given this week while they are still fresh in my little pea brain, but I almost hate to be inside this afternoon.  I think I will go for a walk later!

Hello and good night to everyone!  I usually try to respond to each person when I start the daily thread, but today I HAVE HAD A HELLA DAY!  It's now after 9 p.m. and this is the first time I have sat down in the past 12 hours!

Chris left for work this morning and she said she didn't feel all that well.  Poor baby!  She throw up twice on the way to work and then threw up again in the parking lot before she ever even got in the door.  She came home and I have never seen anyone so sick in my life!  We quarantined her in her room and Benny never even knew that his Mommy was home all day.  I wiped down everything with Clorox wipes and sanitized both bathrooms repeatedly all day.  She has finally quit throwing up, although she says she still feel nauseous.  Dear Lord, please don't let the rest of us get it.

So, we tried to keep Benny out of the house for most of the day.  We did go and buy that fort!  Tomorrow we have to try and move it here.  It's going to be wonderful for Benny.  We did some other shopping, took Benny for a haircut and then out for an ice cream cone, took Butch to PT, bought more flowers and some sod at Home Depot, etc., etc., etc.  Anything we could think of to keep Benny occupied and away from Chris.

I had planned to make grilled shrimp for dinner and even though I was exhausted, I did make them.  Holy cow.  I grew up on the Gulf Coast and have eaten all kinds of shrimp, but these were terrific!  I had a new recipe for a marinade and it was kickin'!  I will try to post it tomorrow.  I made shrimp skewers and veggie kabobs.  It was all so good, but honestly, I was too tired to really appreciate it. 

So, tomorrow I will make another stab at laying the sod.  Just couldn't get it put out this evening with all the other chaos going on.  Oh, and the damn dogs ran away this evening too!  Had to get in the truck and drive around looking for them.  Grrrr!  I tell y'all, it's been a hella day.  This old gal is going to bed before anything else can happen!  LOL!
