Monday Morning in Michigan
Good Morning OFF Family,
I have a busy day ahead of me. I need to get my taxes done. Nothing like waiting till the last minute. It'll probably take me two or three days. Plus, I'm trying to make those hair clips, as Colleen is going to have a table at a Mom-to-Mom sale, and offered to let me sell some there.
I see my new primary care doctor today, and should get my ultrasound results.
Hope everyone has a great day.
Hugs,
Trish

Good morning Trish and my OFF sistas!
My day of being lazy is over and it's back to reality again today. Trish, I hear you on the taxes! We have to do something with ours this week, too. But usually we just have the tax man file an extension for us. Ours are very complicated with Butch working overseas, etc. I gave up being able to do them by myself years ago.
Also, Trish, I hope the doctor can find out what's going on with you and a way to help you feel better!
I have a ton of laundry to tackle today, including sheets. And 4 dogs in the house makes for a mess, no matter how you look at it. Sigh. My little Roomba will be pulling double duty today since I guess no one else ran it while I was gone. But it's the outside of my house that will get the lion's share of my attention today. Butch obviously can't be doing any yard work right now, so that leaves me, huh?
Talked to Carrie yesterday and she was doing okay. Hope she will be sensible about her schedule today and not overdo it.
And Butch has PT this afternoon, so I guess my day is full. Better not sit here and think of anything else to add to it! LOL!
Love you all!
Vickie...please take a couple breaks today and relax. Even 15 minutes with your feet up and a cool drink will help. That a few deep breathes now and then too! I know there is always so much for you to do. I will be glad when Butch is back to feeling better! I love to do laundry...always have!! Wish I was there to help you! Four dogs oh my!!! Hope they don't attack your little Roomba!
Glad Carrie is doing better!! I too hope she doesn't overdo!
Love you...hugs....connie d
Oh, Connie, you are always so sweet! I just about have finished the laundry. I got outside and did yardwork for a couple of hours. I think I blew out my shoulder again. Dammit. I'm going to take a hot bath before Benny gets home from pre-school. That will be my last chance to relax today until bedtime tonight.
Still got to do Butch's PT, the grocery store, the feed store, and Home Depot this afternoon. But we're going to eat dinner out, so I DON'T have to cook tonight at least! LOL!
I'm glad you had a fun weekend with friends. Girl, you deserved it! Now rest up today so you don't have a relapse!
Good Morning Trish and OFF-
Trish- I hope that the tax man is nice to you this year and that you don't owe anything. Also hope that they can get your pain under control and your iron levels up.
Vickie- You wear me out with all you do.
I have to say that this enforced rest is really boring. I want to move around a bit more. So I've called the doctor's office to ask if I can drive short distances and possibly at least pedal a recumbent bicycle.
I'm trying to work on the book project but I need supplies and have no way to get them without driving.
My belly is full of bruises as is my right arm. The Levonox did a number of my body. The steristripes have caused blisters. You tell them that you're allergic to adhesive but I guess they can't help themselves. I'm putting tea tree oil on the blisters and that seems to help the blisters and reduce the itching. I'm using Arnica gel on the arm bruises. Final pathology was benign so I should be relaxing and celebrating no cancer but I'm bored. This is crazy!
Anyway, hope everything is good for everyone. Like Vickie I'm reluctant to tell you that spring as arrived to east Texas. Everything is greening up and growing. Hopefully Mother Nature will be kinder and gentler to the midwest and north east soon.
Cindi
Good to hear from you this morning, Cindi! I've been thinking about you. Can you lose yourself in a good book maybe? That always makes the hours fly by for me.
So thankful that there was no cancer! Answered prayer. The recovery is always a Bee. Abdominal surgery is the worst, I think. No way you can move without pulling something in there!
Prayers and wishes for a speedy recovery!
