Sunday morning in Michigan

Good Morning Off Friends.

Its still dark out but I am wide awake for the day  for the past 2 hrs,    I guess I am in one of my  no sleep modes.   The fun of the nonsleeper!     Oh well I do rest well and  feel fine when I get up  so need to stop whining!  

Been able to be outside more!    I love spring  and always think it my favorite time of year but then I find beauty in each season. 

Today brings church and a church dinner here    I have my moms  macaroni and cheese  ready to go in the oven for potluck  always a favorite.     Probably need to visit a friend in a nursing home also.    Shes sad    my age and no place of her own, I do need to get there often.

Prayers for all those in need    I don't know the needs but He does.

Good Morning Jo and OFF Family,

I overslept this morning and am not pleased.  My blood iron is low, and has been for awhile.  I see my hematologist on Thursday, and hope he will recommend iron infusions.  I've been taking iron supplements for months.

Today I have church, and then I am coming home to rest, and watch my Phillies.  Plus, I have to start my taxes.  I have been putting it off for long enough.  Part of the delay was the move, and needing copies of my 1099's from my retirement and Social Security, because I managed to lose them.  Now that I have them, I need to get cracking on this.  Last year, I owed.  I'm hoping that's not the case this year.

Trish...I am concerned about your iron level. I sure hope they can get that where it needs to be soon!!  I went to drop off my tax info yesterday. A good friend of mine does it. He will get it back to me later today. It isn't like I have much money so it doesn't take that long to do. Hope you don't owe this year!!

A couple of women in my support group have required Iron infusions too. They were so tired and pale just taking the oral supplements. They look so much better with the infusions and say they feel better too.

If your doctor doesn't suggest, you ASK for help.

I had several series of iron infusions when I lived in Pennsylvania.  Since moving to Michigan, the first hematologist seemed dense and just suggested I take an iron supplement, which I'd been doing already.  So, I switched hematologist's.  He ordered the bloodwork three weeks ago, and will discuss it with me on Thursday at my next appointment.

He knows I want infusions, because I made it plain to him what was happening before he tested my levels.

Morning OFF family....56* here so far and the sun is out...chance of rain today then ALL week and come wednesday SEVERE storms possible!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!! Wednesday is our EASTER dinner also. Great!!! Just what I don't need is a severe storm!!!!!! Everythign is electric here!!! Pray it stays away atleast til AFTER the dinner is over and done with!!!

Went to Bingo last night nothing!! Oh well...guess I won my fair share a few weeks ago....LOL

Got the check in the mail yesterday for the new tractor so another trip in to LOWES to pay for that today and make the delivery date for it. It has a grass catcher and a dump cart also. Rick is really excited for this new tractor. :-) Glad he is finally getting some new equipment!!! He sure does need it!!! The junk he was left with was bad!!!! Next on the list is a new push mower!! The one we have OMG!!!!!!! Its an accident waiting to happen!!!!!!!!! So we will also look at one of those today while out.

Ok need to get myself dressed and take Bandit out on a potty walk and then head out to LOWES once again and then the grocery store and home for the NASCAR race and relax the rest of the day!!!!!!!! :-)

I am sure Rick will have  blast on that riding mower....he won't mind mowing at all.I always did our lawns because I loved the riding mower. I got the best tans because I always worn my bikini.The neighbor men loved it...not the ladies so much...LOL

Good Morning OFF Ladies!

Got up for early service but with an earache and sore throat, AGAIN!  Coughing like crazy so we watched the livestream of the service from home so I wouldn't cough through the service.

Going to my in-laws this afternoon for a visit and lunch.  My mother-in-law lives about 40 miles from us but it takes about an hour to get there because of winding country roads (well I am in WV after all) lol. Not sure what else is on the agenda for today, we usually play Sundays by ear.  I know I need to finish the calligraphy job I have started and go basck to work testing on Tuesday.  This should be a busy week! I'll probably work Thursday and Friday as well...

Let's see, what else??? Oh we found me a really cute lunch box yesterday at Gabrial Brothers. It is so compact and cute and red to boot (red is my signature color)! Also got a cute pair of sandles for the beach in June!  Gotta get em when you see em or they wont be there when you go back, at least according to my husband.

Karen....sorry you have a cough, sore throat, and earache...OUCH! Does your MIL even want you there sick? Wish you could just stay home and rest.

I love calligraphy!! My daughter used to do it years ago. It is so pretty! I am sure you do an awesome job!!
