Happy April Fool's Day!
Good Morning, everyone. Hope Vicki's daughter is released from the hospital today. Judy, I've been through similar things with my mom the last years of her life. It is so hard to be far away -- especially when their frailties start to surface. My prayers are with you and your mom -- and Vicki and Carrie too.
Today is grocery shopping day. We'll go pretty early and hope to be able to locate everything on our list.
So glad spring is finally here! Even though we had a mild winter here -- it seemed to last forever. I know from all the weeds sprouting in our yard, that warmer weather is just around the corner and I'm happy about that.
My husband's mom, who lives at an assisted living facility here in town, is having trouble retaining fluid in her legs and feet. Right now, she has an area on one leg (near her ankle) where the skin has split. She has several serious health concerns that cause this kind of thing. I am praying for her. She is a fighter, that's for sure, and she remains optimistic always.

Good morning and Happy April Fools day Cindy and everyone....
Cindy....I am hoping spring is here too! We still have some snow on the ground but it is finally starting to melt!! It was a long, long winter for sure!! I will add your MIL to my prayers. That does sound pretty serious that the skin is breaking open like that. I pray the doctors can find some answers to the problem soon. She sounds like a strong person and that and her attitude will get her through this.
Judy and Vickie....I continue to keep your mom/daughter in my prayers. Judy, I hope your mom does not go home. She will not do as she is told there. Vickie, I hope Carrie gets to go home today!!
I am just not sure what I will do today. I have some paperwork I need to complete to find housing near my daughter's. I pray something comes up soon. I am going to get out of here!!! The sun is shining brightly and that helps but it is still only 22 degrees. No walking outside for me today!! Maybe I will go to a movie later just to get out for a while.

It's baseball opening day and everything is possible. Unfortunately, I won't be able to see my White Sox play. Oh well. I'll have to keep track of the game online.
Today is my Friday as my schedule changes in April and I'll be off Tuesday and Wednesday. And then I work this week and then I'm on vacation, off to see my family in Chicago and my former coworkers and friends in Michigan. I asked my boss last night if he would take Juliette in for the week and take care of her ... he is a cat person and he said he would. So that is one thing off my mind. I'm glad I asked. I think he and Juliette will get along well.
Anyway, I have to get off the computer right now ... didn't get a chance to read everything but will get back on and do that a little later. Have a good day.

Well, I have already had a stress test this morning (everything OK so far, will call in a few days with final results), breakfast with hubby, the Doctor's office to drop off blood sugar numbers, Walmart, AT&T, and JoAnn's Fabric. Whew! I need some lunch.

Karen...I didn't end up going to a movie. There is no school here today which means the theaters will be packed with kids!!
I stayed home and cleaned my room. It was dusty and I need to keep that taken care of because of my COPD. I decided to clean the kitchen...then went into the dining room....then the living room...well you see where that went. I cleaned the whole house and vacuumed.My sister did absolutely nothing why I was gone. The sink was heaped with dishes!! The dust in the rest of the house was awful. I can't be in that environment on top of the other issue!! Oh how I pray I can find some place to live soon.

Afternoon OFF family...nothing new to report except I am sooooo lost at work today...sighs!!! Losing a whole week and dealing on little sleep is not good!!! Last night I did manage to get the most sleep I have had in a long time!!! Not much more but atleast more than what I have been getting!! Talked to my sister last night and she had her daughter go see mom and this stupid nursing home had NO RECORD of mom even being there!!!!! WTH???????????? FINALLY they found her though!!! No wonder things are so screwed up there!!!! Give the poor woman ALL her medications at one time and she feels sick to her stomach and THEY felt that because of that she didn't want to eat so they DIDN'T feed her!!!!!!!!!!!! WTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully today things ARE better!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amanda said she would be there at 11 am and get things straightened out for sure!!!!!!! I hope she did!!! So far I haven't heard from her yet. I swear if I could afford to go back home I would!!!!!!!!!!! AND someplace and a certain brother would be dead meat!!!!!!!!!!
Tomorrow I go for my pap test and hopefully no more cancer scare!!!!!!
Trying to get rents recorded and no paperwork here becI need I do not have from corporate as their machine is broke down...nice!!!!!! Do the best you can...fine. No Problem...I am wonderwoman here...hahaha.
Well need to figure out what to have for supper as I forgot to take something out of the freezer...grrrrrrr!!!!!!! Not sure whats even in there that we can have at the moment...might order Dominoes. That sounds like a winner to me but then maybe not. Just hard to say at this point. Maybe a can of soup...lol.
