Carrie's surgery

Hello everyone,

Carrie had her surgery around noon and it went pretty well. They were able to do it lap, so that part was good. But the surgeon said her appendix was gangrenous and she needs to stay in the hosp for 2-4 days until all danger of infection is passed. So guess where we're spending Easter. Sigh. Oh well, our family is used to being apart on holidays. Butch, mom, Chris & Benny will be at Hilltop, and Carrie and I will be in Waco. Just wanted to post and let you all know how we're doing. Love you all!

I'm praying for you and Carrie.  Thank God she got the surgery when she did.  Have Butch take lots of pictures of Benny on Easter.  This will be my first Easter with my grandchildren.  I'm heading to my daughter's this afternoon to do some baking.  

Hope Carrie's recovery goes smoothly.

Hello Vickie....I am so glad you are there for Carrie. I am happy to know her surgery went well. I will continue to pray for her healing. It is a good thing your mom is at Hilltop. She will be able to help with Benny and things.

So glad to hear Carrie is out of surgery and on her way to recovery. My prayers are with you, Carrie and your family. Hope you have a great Easter.

Glad she is doing OK ... sorry the appendix was gangrenous because that makes things dangerous. Hopefully, the infection will be taken care of.
