Wednesday Morning, and it's still dark.
Good Morning OFF Friends,
Sorry I missed Karen's thread yesterday. It's always nice to hear from you, Sweetie. My dream trip is to Hawaii. I'd have to win the lottery first, just to afford the airfare, let alone the hotel.
I'm up early, getting ready for an appointment with my new pain specialist's nurse practitioner. I'm hopeful for some relief from the pain.
I have to remember to call the pharmaceutical company that used to give me Lovonox in PA. I'll need them for any cortisone shots, or back procedures I'll need.
Must go. I read Karen't thread, and missed hearing from our new people. I hope they're all well.
Love and hugs,
Trish

Morning Trish!
We're up early too. Butch's first outpatient appointment with PT this morning. The only time slot they had left open was for 8 a.m. Argh.
Had a rough night with Benny last night. Chris put him to bed early, and then left to go back into town. That part was okay. But then he woke up crying at 11 p.m. and I never could get him to settle back down. Finally put him back in his bed at 2 a.m.! Then up again at 6 a.m. I think I see a nap in my future.
Butch had an excellent visit to the doctor yesterday. They were all so impressed with his walking just 2 weeks out from knee replacement surgery. We go back in a month for another assessment. Oh, and he got all those staples out of his leg. Whew! Looks so much better now!
I'm going to the grocery store while Butch is in PT. Got to buy eggs and bunnies and a ham, etc. for Easter Sunday. Going to make the cutest Easter cake I saw on FB. Take an angel food cake, frost it with white 7 minute frosting, then decorate it with multi colored Peeps (chicks and bunnies) and sprinkle with colored sprinkles. Looks so cute and it's something that Benny can help decorate!
I'd better scoot. Got to get my shower and we have to get on the road soon. Love you all!
Good Morning Trish and Vickie-
I'm up at sunrise and it's beautiful! Have a busy day ahead. Have to go to dentist to get stitches out from the tooth extraction. Then back to work for a while and then begging with the Friends President for free weekend hotel rooms for the photographers participating in the Book project. Then back to work and then water fitness. Tomorrow I'll work and wrap up my desk. Then Friday I have my preop testing and then head south to spend the weekend with my Texas family celebrating Easter.
Yesterday I went to water fitness class but had to leave cuz I forgot my bathing suit bottoms. Oh! @#% So I came home and finished putting the binding on the baby quilt I've been working on all winter. The baby was born in July but better late than never.
Well, gotta get moving. Trish hope your appointments go well and that you get some pain relief. Vickie glad to hear that Butch got a good report at the doctor on the knee replacement. That will probably be me in another year or so. Positive thoughts to all of the rest of you who follow later in the day.

Good Morning Ladies!
Another COLD day here in WV with scattered snow flurries. Come on SPRING!
Trish - so sorry you are having so much pain hopefully your appointment today will bring some relief.
Vickie - Go Butch! glad to hear he got a good report with his knee. I'm reading your post and Thank You for mentioning HAM. I forgot to lay mine out, it was in the freezer, I ran and did that andcame back to post! lol
Cindi - No bottoms? lol I've never owned a suit with more than one big piece...LOL I always forget my shoes... I loved water aerobics and am looking forward to getting back into it soon.
Not much going on here today. I was supposed to tutor yesterday and my student was sick so I shifted gears, went to the local game shop and played a board game with hubby before he went to work, dropepd off half a dozen boxes of stuff at the local charity then met a dear friend for lunch "At the Club!" ( that is code for Sam's Club...lol) it's cheap, what can I say? Thinking if I do some cleaning I could fill up some more boxes and get a little better organized before surgery. My kitchen is a mess right now where I have been going through cabinets and geting rid of things we haven't used for a very long time or I know we won't use after surgery. Soooooo.....it's off to the kitchen..... chargggeeee!!!
Take Care everyone and have a great day!
Karen
Hi Trish and my OFF family:
Up way too early for me. I got up at 5:30 a.m. ... couldn't sleep, in pain, itchy and hot. Went into the living room, had some Sleepytime Extra Tea, watched some TV I had recorded, went back to bed, still couldn't sleep, gave up, came back out here and made coffee and had breakfast. I'll try to nap later before work.
Vickie, I'm amazed at how well Butch has done after knee replacement. I was still using a walker two weeks out. And I was up and moving around, too (had to be, no one was going to help me but me). But then I had some awful swelling, too. Glad he's doing well. Maybe it's that stubborn streak.
We had a cute recipe in our paper today for deviled eggs that looked like chicks. Too much work for me, but they sure looked cute if someone wanted to put in the time.
Anyway, today is my Friday, hope I can get a nap in before work. We were all pissed at our new system yesterday; it was down first thing in the morning and took nearly three hours before IT could find a solution to get it working again. Even those people who were supporting the new system before were badmouthing it now.
Well, have a good day.
Hi Everyone, it has been a long time since I have posted. I have had a lot going on. I bought a house and will be moving soon. It is in the same town I am at now. I am ready to start a new chapter in my life. I was in LA for an organic health food expo. What a great time. Got lots of samples for my support group. It is amazing what can be made with food. They had egg white chips, fruit snacks, and other strange food that tastes amazingly good. Well, better go to work. Have a great Easter. Mona

Morning all!
Only 68 today, suppose to be 75 by Friday. My dog Bear is a Aussie mix he's 65 lbs and has a large teddy bear he has carried around with him (everywhere he goes for 9 years) any way it looks like I need to do some repairs on the seams. Michael is home for spring break and Krissy is off for 2 weeks. It's great having a full house. My new sewing machine comes this week, I start quilting classes on April 9th.
Vicki, glad to hear Butch is doing so good. I'm going to get an iRobot vacuum next month...very excited to have something to help with the dog and cat hair.
Trish, so sorry about your pain. It's so difficult to go thru each and every day in pain.
If I've missed any one so sorry but as always my thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you!
Big hugs, Debbie
Hi Debbie! I too have an Aussie mix although she looks more like a Border Collie. Molly is about 55 pounds and is the "squeaky toy" queen! lol (Pictures on my page) I also got a new sewing machine right before christmas and love it! Love to sew and quilt but I do most of my quilting by hand. My mother kinda drilled it in at a young age, but I find it very comforting and calming. You will have to post pics of what you are working on, I'd love to see! Have fun!
