Monday Monday so good to me
Good Morning Sweet Friends,
I have a busy day ahead of me. I have several phone calls to make to doctor's offices. Then, I have to go into town for some errands. Tonight, I watch the Munchkins for Colleen. This is the last week that Trent will be working out of town. I know Colleen is looking forward to having Trent home for good. He's only been home on weekends during this job. The kids miss their Daddy, and so does she.
Must scoot.
Hugs and prayers,
Trish

Good Morning Trish and those to come!
Sounds like one of my mornings! Hubby and I have already been to the cardiologist this morning and are scheduled for his n hers stress tests next monday morning EARLY! It had been 4 years since I had one, hubby hasn't had one for 2 years so better safe than sorry. We are moving right along with our process!
Snowy here but nothing sticking judt s gloomy looking day. Good day to clean I think! Have a couple calls to make and will probably get sidetracked at some point. Filling boxes to take to the local charity while cleaning trying to downsize our house since we are going to downsize ourselves!
Take care and I may stop back in later.
Karen
Karen,
I have been meaning to write to you but keep forgetting. I run the bariatric support group in Ithaca, NY. We have a few couples who have had their surgery within weeks of each other. They seem to be so confident and at ease with the support they get from each other. It is good to live with a person who knows exactly what you are going through. Their weight losses are fantastic and they exercise together now.
One thing they have all mentioned is that they are very different in the foods the like and tolerate. Please keep that in mind for you and your hubby.
Best wishes as you go through the process.
Annette
Thanks for the insight. We are trying to plan ahead as best we can but have read so many places that you may not like or be able to toleratefoods after surgery that you could before. I guess it will just be a trial and error thing. But going though it together is just the best way for us to have success we think!

Not a lot planned for me today. I need to get my laundry done. Hopefully sometime TODAY. My sister has had laundry in the dryer for three days now. She doesn't like anyone taking it out. So here I wait. Playing her silly games!!!!
I spoke with my daughter Carrie. My grandson, Lucas was planing on staying at his dad's this week while Carrie was gone. Now he found out I am going to be there so he wants to stay some of the time with me. I know his dad has plans for the weekend with other family and friends.Lucas will need to be there then. Lucas is such a sweetheart. I have always called him "Sugar Boy" If I ask him way he says, "because I am sweet as Suuugggaaarr! I will be so happy to have him there!! I know Kyleigh will be glad to have some time with her brother as well. They are very close and don't see each other often enough. It will be a great week!!! Just what I need!!!!

Connie, i finally got around to making the meat balls. Robert, DH, really liked them and I did, too. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
I met a couple of girls who had WLS about the time I did. One is doing really well with a little regain. The other has gained quite a bit. We just caught up with each others lives and did not talk much about our regain problems. Girl who has gained a lot has a very stressful job and eats to help dealing with it. I am so fortunate to be out of the work place.
Prayers and blessings to everybody.
Hi Ruby....I am so glad you decided to try the meatballs. I love them because they can be heated from frozen in just a minute or so!!
It was nice that you got to spend time with those friends. Every one has their reasons as to how well or not we follow with the weight regain. I wish them both the best!!
Love and hugs....connie d
Hi Trish and my OFF family:
Didn't get to post yesterday; had to get to work and then forgot about doing it at work. Got up at 11 a.m. today and slept so well. But I need to get in the shower now so I won't stay on here too long.
It was snowing last night and flurrying a little bit today, but nothing stuck. It's gloomy and cold yet. Debbie, are your migraines brought on by the weather? Mine are ... I knew we were getting a storm system coming through because I had a headache Friday and nothing worked to get rid of it ... I tried everything.
As for Judy, if she went to see her mom, she doesn't have access to a computer so we won't hear from her for awhile.
Well, need to get into the shower and have lunch. Have a good day.
Hi sweet sistas!
Just a quick hello to let you all know that we made it back to Hilltop okay. My mom is doing fine, except that her hearing aid broke. Oy vey! I have to shout (almost) for her to be able to hear me. It was a LONG 6 hours in the car!!! LOL!
I read all the posts from the last two days, but I'm too tired to remember or respond much right now. Love you all!
