Just a quick Hi. I am off to walk with friends. Should be busy day. Getting hair--thin, damaged, etc. Usually do it myself, but nothing helps, so off to get HELP. Hope to make sneakers class.

Good Morning OFF friends
Well All my whining the other day didnt do any good its still bone chilling cold here in michigan And will be for several days so I wont whine any more.
I am off running again today to help a young mother of 6 move her family to better place today had better be the end! lovely lady and good mama but disorganized!
Prayers going up from our house for all friends here.

Happy Friday to you all! I like Fridays, except that it's our trash day and I always have to start my day lugging the trash out back to the alley. LOL! Seems a bit prophetic for the weekend somehow.
Butch had a better night last night. The visiting RN said he was doing well yesterday. Today PT comes again. Hope it doesn't hurt him as much as last time.
I finally got started on my curtains yesterday! Hurray! First thing I had to do was trim and cut that 10 yards of material. Boy, do I miss my custom cutting table that Butch made for me! I'm so tall that it's quite difficult for me to cut out fabric on a standard height kitchen table. Plays hell with my back, you know? But I got 4 panels cut out and also got the black out lining cut. Then I tried to sew the first panel. Should have been easy peasy, but I have never worked with the black out fabric before. Had to rip out one whole side and start over. Finally figured out that the black out fabric HAS to be on the bottom when sewing it to the decorator fabric. Hope the other three panels go easier today!
My goal is to finish the living room curtains before I go to pick up Mom on Sunday. Then maybe I can do the kitchen curtains while she is here to help me watch Benny.
Hope to hear about Judy's mom today. I feel for both her and Eileen and their situations with their moms. I am on a campaign to get my mom to move down here with us this year. She is 83 and still in fairly good health, but I worry about her being so far away from me. I am the only family she has left. I need her to be close by BEFORE there is a problem! I don't know why she won't move here. I guess she is just scared to leave her comfort zone.
Connie, I am sorry you are having hell with your sister again. Prayers that you can move near Carrie soon!
I need to start sewing this morning before Benny wakes up, so I'll close now. Maybe I can get a panel finished before he gets up.

Good Morning Ruby, Jo, Vickie and all my sweet friends,
Jo, I am with you about the cold weather here. Back home the high temp will be 45 today. Our high is supposed to be 35 degrees. Huge difference. Still, I prefer living here, by my Munchkins and daughter. Plus, my house is cozy.
I'm heading into town to do laundry. Then, I might make an AA meeting. Depends on how quickly my laundry gets done.
Colleen and the kids are heading out of town for the weekend. Trent's Mom rents a huge place for the weekend, and has all six kids, their spouses, and eleven grandchildren for the weekend.
Must scoot.

Hi Ruby and my OFF family:
Well, I had big plans to do not much of anything ... then I got called in to work. I have a headache and don't really feel well, but off I go to work. I have laundry to do but I guess that will have to wait.
The reason for getting called in is because the guy who was supposed to be in charge tonight, his stepfather has meningitis and is in the hospital. I will get OT but like I said, I don't feel very good.
I was going to respond to someone but can't remember what I was going to say. If I think of it later, I'll respond then. Anyway, off to the shower. Have a good day.

Happy to hear everyone is doing okay. I read the posts and can't even remember what I read....so sorry. My mind is fuddled for lack of sleep.
I did go to the post office and mail a couple packages this afternoon. The important one was the Easter package to Gracie!!! I just sent the other grandkids a card and a little cash. They like that better anyway.
Next Tuesday evening I am going to my daughter Carrie's. I will be there until probably Monday. They are going to Florida for the Twins camp and all that involves. Carrie is a crazy about the Twins! She is a is a over the top Twins fan!! I will be picking up Kyleigh and we will be house sitting while they are away. It is a way I can get out of here and have a house to roam around and do as I please. I won't be alone so that will be good too. I am so looking forward to this. My daughter has a very beautiful home. They live on the river and the scenery is just awesome. They have a huge deck and I am praying I will be able to use that too!! I will be doing them a favor too. One of my SIL's , son's seems to always know when they are out of town. The last time he had one heck of a party and trashed the place.He lives with his mother. He won't be doing that again!! If he so much as steps on the property I am to call the police....and I will!
Know that I care so much about all of you!! I remember that Vickie did start her curtains. Otherwise I am at a total loss. I am so sorry. I always like to reply.

We are watching the weather cause we are leaving on Friday to go to North Carolina and Illinois and Wisconsin and Michigan. I need a daughter fix. With Bentley in tow!!!!!
I went to get a massage today and my blood pressure was pretty low. They wouldnt let me leave till it went up. If it didnt go up they were going to put me in the hospital. I lucked out. It did go up but not a lot. So now I have to monitor it more.
Life on being on Prednisone!!!!!Well that is my *****in!!!!!!
