Happy Monday Everyone
Judy...glad you are getting some new equipment...it sounds like it was badly needed!!
I am sending prayers that you both can qualify for Medicaid. It would be awful being in pain all the time and not being able to get help for it. Good luck!!
I couldn't decide on what to have for dinner so I just made a small chef salad. I needed more veggies in today.
Have a great evening!!!
Love and hugs...connie d
Good evening everyone,
Connie I finally got out and got some of the protein drinks you suggested and they have stayed down today. I was so sick all weekend with nothing staying down food wise or even the protein drinks. I was able to eat tonight three tiny bites of tuna salad and while my tummy wasn't real please that has stayed down for 1.5 hours now....whoopeee!! Maybe I am getting there. I did a day at work today and it wasn't bad as I was able to do at a slow pace which is highly uncommon for me as I am a speedy queen but I did make it all day. Of course my energy is zapped but I feel good. Hoping things continue in the right space now.
Sorry everyone I read the posts but can't remember enough to reply I will get better but hugs, blessings, and prayers to all.
Mikka....I am glad you are doing better with the protein drinks. They are the only ones that work for me. I use to pour the Boost into a dish and freeze it...that was a nice cold treat!! I hoped the tuna works for you...sounds like it has so far. Also, I practically lived on re-fried beans w/cheese. Just about 3 tablespoons at a time. I usually got them at Taco Bell but sometimes I used the canned ones. I added a little water to the canned ones so they weren't quite so thick. Cottage cheese was always good to eat too. I have gotten so I like it mixed with my tuna instead of mayo. More protein that way too. Egg salad and yogurt are good. Just some ideas...good luck!
