Happy Monday Everyone

Good Morning Everyone,

So sorry about the light font, and nonsense word in yesterday's post.  No excuse for that.

Today, I finally get to see an Ear/Nose/Throat doctor.  I have a huge praise.  I couldn't find my records from my ENT doc in Pennsylvania, till yesterday.  Now, I have them, and they're already in the car, awaiting my appointment.  While I'm in town, I'll get some laundry done.  I'll also see if the timing of getting out from the appointment allows for an AA meeting.

Tonight, I babysit the Munchkins for Colleen.  Her husband will be working out of town during the week till the end of March.  I know Colleen looks forward to when he is home on the weekends.  She has such a hard time staying on top of the daily chores, plus laundry, plus her one college class she teaches.  She absolutely dreads going back to her teaching job.  She really doesn't want to go back to teaching in the public schools because of the new evaluation system they now have for teachers.

Must scoot.

Hugs and love,

Trish

Morning Trish and the OFF family,

Sounds like you have a full day ahead.  I have some errands to run.  Have to go to my family doctor today to drop off blood sugar numbers and weigh in.  Tutoring for 4 hours this afternoon.  I taught in our public school system for 34 years and can understand someone not wanting back in that situation.  The evaluations are getting crazy and I know in our case tying test scores to teacher pay, I just can't believe it!

Can't remember if I mentioned but the endoscopies went well friday with no problems to report!  I think we will have blood work done this week and try to schedule EKG's for next week.  Things seem to be moving along almost oo smoothly, but we will pray that it continues.

Hope everyone has a productive day!

Karen

Karen....so glad your endoscopies went well. Sounds like things are really falling into place nicely.

Keeping you and your hubby in my prayers that all continues to go well.

Enjoy your tutoring today!

Good morning Trish and Karen and all my OFF sistas!

Things are moving along here at our house this morning.  It feels like a Monday, too.  Ugh.  Chris overslept and is in a rush to get Benny ready for pre-school.  Butch woke up with a headache--very rare.  I had weird, weird dreams all night long and don't feel like I got any sleep at all--even though I was asleep!  Crazy beginning to the day.

This morning I am going to make a run to Sam's Club for diapers and waters and laundry detergent, etc.  Benny will be in school and Chris doesn't go in to wor****il 4 p.m., so she'll be here with Butch.  I am looking forward to having a few hours to myself.  I need the "me" time.  I might even get to stop at Tuesday Morning--my favorite place to browse around.  I need a couple of new lamps, might just find some there.

Butch's two sisters came for a visit yesterday.  They wanted to see how big brother was doing.  For the first time, I wasn't embarrassed by the floors in this house!  Now if I can just get some curtains made soon.  And get the painting done!

It was 85 here yesterday afternoon and we're headed up close to 90 today.  Definitely time to break out the capris and shorts and sandals.  My flowers have started to take off on the front deck.  Got my hanging baskets fixed and my flower pots filled.  I love this time of year!

Wishing you all the best Monday possible!  Love you all!

Hello Vickie...sounds like you do need a little time for yourself. Glad you will be able to get out for a bit today. I have heard of "Tuesday Morning". There isn't one near me. I am sure it would be a shop I would enjoy.

I hope Butch's headache goes away soon. It was nice of his sisters to stop by. I am sure your house looked great!!

I am so envious of your warm temps. I pray we will have some warm weather and sunshine soon!! Wednesday is the first day of Spring...we have blizzard conditions today!

Love and many hugs....connie d

Morning to all.  Walked two miles and hope to get to Silver Sneakers in a bit.  Had a BAD day yesterday food wise.  Ate all the bad stuff.  I will do better today.  I am trying to stay FOCUSED.

Cleaning out a drawer in kitchen as I read.  Got to get rid of some of this trash.  Can not leave this for family to clean out when I leave this world.

Funeral home visit today for good friend.  I can not believe she is gone.

Hope everybody has a GOOD day.

Ruby...you are doing great getting your walk in every day. I wish we would quit having snow and ice so I could get out and walk!!

Why do we always collect so much junk in our kitchen drawers? When I move I will be de-cluttering again too!! Now it is all in storage.

I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers for you and all her family and friends.

Love and hugs....connie d

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

Up early this morning because I have a dental appointment. I've been having some sensitivity/pain issues on my upper left. Been putting it off for awhile, but finally made an appointment last week.

Work was quiet last night ... all basketball, all the time. Waiting for stories on the NCAA brackets most of the night. But it was stuff I knew we would have.

Still raining here and chilly. 45 degrees now but supposed to hit 50. Doesn't feel like it. Feels a lot cooler.

Hope everyone has a good day. Back to work tonight for me.

Eileen....glad you got a dental appointment made. Hope they can help you with the problem.

I am sure it was nice to have a quiet night last night. I am glad all went so well for you!

I would love to have your weather. We are having blizzard conditions here today. Schools are already closed.

Love and hugs....connie d

I spaced out ... my appointment was for tomorrow. So now I have to get up early tomorrow, too.

Glad we're not having blizzard conditions here. The rain is enough. I can stand a rainy day. It's chilly but not cold, just damp.
