Snowy Sunday in Michigan!

Good morning Jo and my OFF sistas!
Jo, good to hear from you. You have been missed!
I'm the first one up at my house and it's already past 9 a.m. Everyone is sleeping late today. I am thankful for a good night's sleep. Butch got up twice to go to the bathroom, but he did it without my assistance. I am amazed. He says his leg is sore and he asks me to rub and massage it often, but I don't think he took a single pain pill yesterday.
Today our daughter Carrie will leave to go back home. Oh, I will miss her! She has lifted a great burden from my shoulders this week. She and I had a long talk about WLS for her. She's 30 now, and has been obese for most of her adult life. Grad school has just added to the pounds. We are talking about going to Carolyn's doctor in Mexico and letting her have WLS. It would be expensive to self pay, but I worry about her health so much. She's too heavy. She smokes and I suspect she's on birth control pills. It's just a recipe for disaster.
Anyway, life returns to "normal" this week--whatever that is! LOL! Benny starts back to preschool in the morning. I will be glad for the 2 days off! Oh, my, he is such a rowdy little fella! Precious, adorable, but so much energy! He quite runs me ragged most days. It was amazing (and a little sad) to see the energy Carrie had playing with him. I don't do the poor baby justice most days.
Spring has truly arrived here in the Hill Country. I wore shorts and sandals out shopping yesterday. I love this time of year!
Well, just about everyone is up now. I guess I'd better close and see to my family. Wishing you all a blessed Sunday. Love you all!

Vickie....I am so glad Carrie was such a big help for you. I am sure Benny loved having her there too! You have to remember Carrie only has Benny a week or so at a time. You have him everyday that is why she seems to get more involved. Her energy reserve is kicking in....yours gets depleted most days. I hope she decides to have the surgery...she won't be sorry!!
I finally had a good night's sleep last night. What a difference that has made. I may try to venture out some today. Not for long ...just baby steps. Nothing much happened for me yesterday. Just did some reading and resting. The snow we were supposed to get didn't come..YAY!!

Good to see you again, Jo.
Not much happening here. It's raining and chilly. Hurts my joints.
I had a busy night at work last night; my boss called in sick, so I was doing his job, plus part of what I usually do on Saturdays. We were down one person. We still got out on time. The night went quickly.
Talked with my brother today ... he goes for his training for his job this week. Mom will have her caregiver with her while he's gone anyway. We all have to sit down when I go in in April. Plus, we decided to sell her car. She wasn't too happy about that ... she said, "Who gave you permission to do that?" My brothers told her she can't drive anymore because she can't steer with her arms the way they are, so there's no sense in keeping the car. She was still angry. Oh well ... she shouldn't be driving anyway. She's confused a lot of the time anyway.
Well, I should be getting ready for work. I'm waiting to hear from my boss to see if he's going into work and if he needs a ride because it's raining and there are no buses on Sunday.

Just a quick check in to all. Good wishes to all.
Went to church and lunch at Wendy's. Learned a good church friend died. We had been knowing the end was coming, but still hard to take. Our church lost three members this week. Death angel pls go away.
Think I will set up Robert's for the week.
Jo I am new around here so you do not know me. I am wishing you things. Hope you get the difficult stuff worked out.
