Great morning everyone!! I only have 4 days until I will have my surgery....Feb 28th. I am having to work on containing my exciting yet still have lots of nerves and worrying as well. I just bought a house in September and I love it. I was fortunate to be able to have everything redone - paint, carpet, tile, new fence, gutters, etc. I debated AGAIN with my age did I want to do that. My honey decided he thought it was the best thing for us even though we are just living together. Hence I decided I wanted to do it all in my name.
Suppose to be sunny and in the 70s here in one the suberb of Dallas, TX.
Vicki, I would love to be going with you next weeked as I have been to that years ago and had a wonderful time.
I am trying to make sure that I have everything I should need for Thursday surgery so I am off to do more checking and packing.
I work for UTSW at Childre's Medical Center and it will be busy Mon-Wed making sure that I have everything lined out for the admins who will be covering for me while I am out.
Have a truly blessed day y'all!

Greetings Everyone,
I'm watching my grandsons this afternoon, and loving it. We went to church this morning, and then Colleen invited me to dinner. She and Trent went grocery shopping, so I offered to watch the boys. Isabel went to her other Grandma's house, because her favorite cousin is visiting.
In case anyone missed my Facebook post, my daughter-in-law will be performing in a production of songs from Les Miserables tonight at the Academy Awards. She'll be on stage with Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman and other stars from the movie. I'm told she'll bei wearing red, and will be on the left as you face the stage. My son, Chris, is out in Hollywood with her, and tonight they'll go to an after party.

Hi Judy and my OFF family:
Getting on here later ... just a quick hello before I get ready for work. Didn't sleep all that well last night. It was busy and I felt like I was spinning my wheels all night. I was only five minutes late, but I was constantly trying to get stories for pages and shoveling them out. Just nuts.
My mom told me she is going back to the ortho doc on Wednesday ... her arm isn't getting better. Hope he can figure something out. She also said my brother's MIL is in the hospital; they say she has congestive heart failure. Rena is younger than my mom. My brother and SIL have just sold the house the three of them lived in because the MIL wanted to move to assisted living. Now, you have to wonder how long she'll be in there. And mom says one of the neighbor boys I grew up with ... he was younger than I ... died last week. Wow. Lots of news ... he had cancer for a long time.
Well, that's all. Judy, congrats on your new car. I read everyone's post, but I want to take a snooze before work. Have a good day.
