Monday Monday

Good Morning,

Where is everyone?  I'm slow moving today, trying to get my bearings here.  I'm going to my daughter's for lunch this afternoon.  My granddaughter has a snow day because heavy rains flooded many streets so kids can't get to school.

I spoke with my podiatrist because I've been having a ton of pain.  He said to try not to do to much.  Stand or walk for ten/fifteen minutes, then rest for fifteen minutes.  I guess I was overdoing it.

I went to evening church last night, and met a bunch of people whose names I can't remember.  I am joining a women's Bible study Tuesday evening.  It will be a Beth Moore study on the Fruit of the Spirit.  It'll be a great opportunity to meet a bunch of the women.  

I must go take my shower, and get moving.

Trish, so glad to hear the positive sounds to your posts.  What joy to be in your own place, but don't over do it.

I'm off to pick up flowers and deliver them to my oldest daughter, Sarah. Today is her 44th birthday. She'd be unhappy with me for telling her age. Oh, well!

Tri**** is wonderful to hear happiness in your posts! So glad you are getting out and making new friends. Please be careful with your foot. I wouldn't want to hear you need more surgery on it! Have fun at lunch!!

The plows came again at 1:15 AM to finish up the plowing. Grrrrr I had to go out and clean off my car and move it again. I was having trouble falling asleep last night. Just as I was about to doze off here come the plows. I am praying for no more heavy snow!!!

I don't have anything planned for today other then a nap that is.

Afternoon OFF...well not much happening here except the WIND!!!! WOW!!!!!!! Gusts expected to reach 50 mph today!!!

Trish...I know you are happy in your new place it shows!!! CONGRATS!!! Now...SLOW DOWN!!!! You just got the cast thingy off that foot and you don't need a relapse do you?? BE CAREFUL!!!!

Today I am doing recert on an elderly couple and boy they are hard to deal with...hard of hearing and and not very good at paying attention on where to sign and date paperwork. My head hurts. Hopefully I can get this figured out to save them money on their rent again. So far its not looking good at all. Yikes.

Well lunch is about over with and need to take Bandit potty walk before I go back to my office. Still waiting on Sheriff to show up with eviction sticker for that tenant I went to court on last week. Heard they should be here today or tomorrow for sure.

Hi everyone!

You know, I could have sworn I posted yesterday, but my post isn't there.  Hmmmm.  Crazy internet.

Getting ready to run to the store today.  Tomorrow I have to stay home until my new computer desk is delivered.  And on Wednesday my husband comes home!  Ask me if I am excited?!?  He says the galley crew made a special dinner for him (lobster) and a cake as a going away party.  He said some of his guys had tears in their eyes.  I hope they don't make him feel too sentimental.  I don't want him deciding to go back!

Trish, honey, I am so happy for you!  You have earned every bit of happiness you have now.  Best wishes for you always.  Hope your foot doesn't give you any more pain.  Stay off of it, hear?

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

Just got off the phone with my brother; we talked about my mom for quite a while. He says she's walking better but her elbow is still bothering her. He will probably have to make an appointment with the orthopedist. She still can't move it very well and it's swollen. Plus, the nurse who comes seems to think Mom has congestive heart failure. Well, she's 88 ... can't live forever ... lots of things are starting to go wrong with her. But I'm glad she's getting around better at least.

Finally got a photo of my new grandnephew who was born last Monday ... I posted it separately ... hope everyone saw it. He's a cutie ... we can't figure out who he looks like yet, although I think he has the Olson (my nephew's mom's side family) chin. Hard to tell resemblance when he has his eyes closed.

Last night wasn't quite as hectic, although the local college team's game went into overtime ... getting sick of overtime games. But it was just one OT at least, not five, like Notre Dame and Louisville.

Wow, can't believe the pope is resigning. Such a surprise!

Anyway, got to get into the shower. Have a good day.
