SATURDAY WHAT'S HAPPENING?

Snowing here...good news is....EARLY SPRING!!!!!!!!!!! 12* BRRR seems like I will never get warm again with all this cold weather and wind blowing...haha. But if an early spring is coming I will take it!!!

Planning a Super Bowl Party here. Nothing big at all...just us. Might order a pizza not sure. Don't care which team wins. I am watching the game for the commercials...lol.

Finally tried another restaurant here last night. Granny's. Pretty good food and cheap. Only thing is they close at 7. But the food was good that I had. Could only eat half so brought the other half home for Rick. He liked it so we will go there and try something else.

My left wrist has been hurting me alot. Not sure what it is. Seems to start in my palm bone area on the side near the wrist area outside. Best I can explain it. Sometimes it hurts all the way up towards my elbow area. So I have not been working on the new afghan. And I am left handed. :-(

Heard a good one yesterday. Thursday night is the weekly drawing at the VFW. You pay a buck to sign the book and you have chance to win money. So 7pm they draw a name to see who wins...if you signed and your name is drawn you win the whole thing if you are there...if you are signed and not there you get half...if you are not signed you get nothing at all period. Well they pulled good old Randy's name....he was NOT signed and he was there....LMAO missed out on $500.00 best news I have heard in a long time!! Couldn't have happened to a better person!! For all the mean and hurtful thing this jerk has been saying about me and Rick to people while working here and even after he was fired....OMG and he is STILL running his mouth telling people HE was manager here...NOT!! And the liability was so high it was unreal to keep him here...yet he just doesn't "get it" and he never will!!!! Sighs.

Well best get dressed and take Bandit out for his potty walk. Hope everyone is feeling better today!!

Jail break!  LOL!  At least that's what it feels like to me today.  I'm out the door and on my way to Waco for the weekend.  Two weeks cooped up with a sick toddler is two weeks too long!  I'm off for some shopping and dinner out with my daughter tonight.  Can't wait!

I feel better today. I think these new meds are helping. Problem was I couldn't get to sleep last night. I was still awake yet at 3:00 AM. We got snow last night. At 5:00 AM I heard the snow plows out here. I had to bundle up and go clean off my car and move it out of the parking area. Sat out there for about 15 minutes until they finished. It was so cold out there....brrrrr. I took forever to warm up when I came inside.

Hi Judy and my OFF family:

I will have to record the Super Bowl because I have to work tomorrow. I'm rooting for the 49ers. Don't like Ray Lewis, although I do like Michael Oher (The Blind Side guy). Anyway, we'll have a Super Bowl party at work (I'll remind people tonight). 

Judy, that's great about Randy ... what goes around comes around. The karma always bounces back.

I had a hectic night at work. We had a lot of pages with very few ads and, for once, not a lot of obits. Lot of space to fill up. Plus, we're struggling with this new system (we're the guinea pigs for the whole chain) ... I had two crashes, others on the desk had a total of seven crashes, and that's not counting the guy who lost his whole page and had to start over (I had that happen to me, too, but all I had done was design it ... he had designed and edited the page). We still got done on time ... thanks to all the help I got. Good teamwork.

Well, that's all now. Got up at 10 a.m. and made a pot of coffee and am relaxing watching figure skating now. Have a good day.

Utley and I are enjoying some time alone, without Eileen, Mom, and Eileen's two dogs. I can watch what I want.

In between playing fetch with Utley, I'm working on Lincoln's bedspread.

After today, I have five more days left here. Praise God.
