Update....

I went to the doctor....I still have some pneumonia. She gave me more meds. She is also having blood tests done. She thinks I may be anemic or something else. She will call today after the radiologist looks at the new xray and the results of the blood work comes in.

Hope it isn't anything more serious.

Well, no wonder you don't have your strength back yet!  Geez, you are lucky to be upright at all!  Please take care of you.  Proud of you for making some nutritious frozen meals in the midst of all your trouble.  Good food and plenty of rest--Dr Mom's orders!

Vickie....my doctor herself just called me back. Definitely still pneumonia. She also called in  another stronger antibiotic. She wants me to keep in touch...anything gets worse immediately to come in. If office is closed go to ER.

I will follow her rules and yours Dr Mom!!!  The weakness is the absolute hardest part. I have days I can barely shower but can't even wash my own hair. I am feeling very light headed now and am going to bed again.

My dear sweet friend Pam is picking up my medications for me. I just can't do it.

Connie, just keep resting and rest some more. Sounds like you are being careful when your up and walking around. Dirty hair never hurt anyone so if no one is around when you shower/bathe, just relax until you get company. Hope those antibiotics start kicking in. I'm keeping you in my prayers. Debbie

Debbiejean...I am doing my best to relax and rest. I only shower every other day. I never wash my hair when I shower as I am still too weak. My ex and my best friend are the only ones that come here to help with things I need. I don't need to look good for them!!

Judy...I thought I was doing every thing right. My doctor gave me a lecture about not contacting her sooner. I always think I will be okay....NOT.  I will be keeping in touch with her.

Connie, you take care of yourself. There's no one to take care of you. Rest, get some good protein in you and try to get better. We all worry about you.
