Good Morning,
I'm literally counting the days till I leave here. Soon, I'll be counting the hours. After today, I have 8 more days till I leave for my house in Michigan.

Connie, I hope you'll call your doctor as soon as you start to decline, or just feel worse. If you go in the hospital you won't have to cook, or clean. You can just rest and get better. Plus, it would give the doctor the option of using IV antibiotics. I'm very worried about you.

I will be watching TV and crocheting till 5:00. Then I head to a women's AA meeting.

Hugs,
Trish

Good Morning Trish and OFF-

Tri**** will fly by if you keep crocheting.  I share your frustration about waiting, it's tough but hang in there and then you'll be on your way to a new life.

Connie - I share everyone's concern about your health.  Stay on top of it and get lots of rest.

Cold weather roared back into Texas last night.  The RV vibrated for most of the night.  The wind knocked over the portable satellite dish, so I'll have to do some tuning later this morning if I want to watch TV tonight.

Headed into Houston today to see a ENT about my vertigo.  I'm going in with three other women.  We all have appointments with the same doctor.  So It will be a long day.

The book project is perking along.  Mailed out invitations to photographers last week and have heard from some of them already.  Made a presentation at the Friends Annual Meeting and got a photographer there.   Someone saw our flyer over the weekend and has volunteered to do the page layout for free.  This will focus more of the budget on hiring a photo editor and printing.  I think the project is blessed at this point.  So if later in the summer I am *****ing about this project remind me of this posting please.

Working hard a****er fitness.  Frustrated with my emotional eating and have to get it under control soon.  I simply refuse to buy bigger pants so I have to get it under control or I'll be walking around bare bottomed.

Positive thoughts to all of you in need.  Hope everyone is safe from all the storms.

Hey Cindi!  This is OFF!  We do no "*****ing" here!  ROFLMAO!!!!

No, really, I think the book project sounds fascinating.  Just the sort of thing I would love to do.  Please keep us posted.

Hope you get some relief from your vertigo today.  Vertigo is miserable.

Love ya!

Good morning Trish, Cindi and everyone....

Trish.....I am counting the days and hours with you!! I spoke with my doctor and it was decided if I can kick this at home it would be for the best. There are so many people in the hospital with all the other colds and flus going around. She is afraid I will catch something else. The Pneumonia and COPD is enough for my body to handle. I have nothing but time. However, if I change at all for the worse she will know about it!!

Cindi...thank you so much for the kind words. We are blessed to have such a great group of friends here on OFF!!!

I am laying low again today. Nothing at all planned but rest. I slept horrible last night. I was still awake at 6AM. I was having such horrible spasms all over. Then restless legs started in. It is best if I can walk that off.  Because my sister insists on sleeping in the living room I couldn't leave my room!! Such is my life!!

Hoping you all have a wonderful day!  Prayers for many in need...special prayers for some.

Love and hugs....connie d

Good morning Trish, Cindi and Connie!  And all my OFF sistas!

Whoo, like Cindi said, the winds are really howling in Texas today!  Being up on top of this hill is quite noisy.  This old house is far from airtight and really "sings" when the wind picks up.

So, Benny is still sleeping (it's 10 a.m.) and I'm letting him rest.  Doctor said "rest, fluids, and baby Tylenol", so that's what we're doing.  I hate that he had to miss preschool today.  It is pajama day.  The kids were going to watch movies and be treated to a sausage and pancake lunch.  Oh, well, he doesn't know he's missing it.  And Mimi can make him the sausage and pancakes here.

I also hate that he missed preschool today because I have so many errands to run.  I could have used the "me" time today.  Oh, well . . .

I'm excited about this weekend.  Chris has Sat/Sun off, so I'm going to Waco to visit my oldest daughter, Carrie.  I need a break!  And I always love to go spend some time with Carrie.

Just two more weeks until my husband gets home.  We are finally on what we call "the downhill slide".  I can hardly believe that he might be home for good this time.  He wrote me that he is trying to work out a deal where he can be an independent consultant for the company.  He's an expert in rig-moving and wants to do that exclusively.  Really?  I mean, yeah, the money would be nice, but honestly.  Is the man never going to retire???  I guess that would be better than dealing with him being gone 4-5 weeks at a time.  He would only be gone about a week at a time if he just went to move rigs.  I give up.  The man is going to wor****il he drops.

We are talking about buying a used RV this spring.  Well, we already have a small 5th wheel, but it's really TOO small.  Only one bed and a little bitty bath.  We want one a little bit bigger.  I want to do some travelling and I don't see why we can't take Benny with us.  We are talking about making an initial trip to Garner State Park in late May or early June with Benny as a trial run.  Garner State Park is a few hours away in West Texas and has a beautiful stretch of the Frio River running through it.  The Frio is wonderful for tubing and playing.  So we'll see.  I have a whole bucket list of places that I want to go see in the U.S.  Until Benny starts 1st grade, we can just take him along with us.  May not be quite ideal, but it could work.

Oh, there's my boy waking up.  I'd better go.  I sure hope he feels better today.

Love you all!

Tri****hink I can, I think I can, I think I can . . . !  C'mon, you can do this!  It's almost over now.  Wish I lived close enough to come for a visit.  We could spend the day crocheting together.  Wouldn't that be fun?  Nothing like a little tea and sympathy to make a body feel better.  Praying for you, sweetie!  It will be over soon.

Morning Trish and others.

Trish - soon you will be here with the rest of freezing out butts off.  It is springtime today by tomorrow morning it will be back to freezing.

Cindi - good luck with your photographers.

Connie - concentrate on rest and getting better.

Vickie - Hold on tight.  The DD said they are having high wind and warnings in KY too.  Hope poor little Benny gets better soon.  Visiting the daughter will be nice as will having your home even if he isn’t going to retire.

I had my one week follow up with my PCP yesterday and blood work.  She is happy with my progress.  I had the 1-2 week follow up/nut class with my surgery center today.  Got the staples out YEAH but, the drain had to stay.  I started producing more fluid with more blood in it last night.  I believe it is because yesterday I also ran in to see them as an incision was pulling apart.  The nurse told me I was supposed to be wearing the tummy binder.  When I would wear it the drain would feel like I was being stabbed.  I finally found a position to tape the drain in a direction that didn’t hurt, but I think by jamming that drain caused it to start bleeding in there.

I am supposed to go to a weekend scrapbooking retreat with the oldest daughter this weekend.  I don’t know if I want to go with this drain AND not being able to eat all the yummy food they make for us and is in the package price I paid for.

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

Trish, you're heading into the home stretch. You can do it.

Connie, I hope you will feel better and if not, you call your doctor. I know we tend to do too much (I know I do).

Vickie, I hope Butch is really retiring. I know my oldest brother is doing that this year (and he is in a much less strenuous and less hazardous work (he's a chemical engineer).

I'm off today and tomorrow. Nothing going on. I have a chiro appointment and then maybe I'll go out for lunch. We had some big storms last night ... tornado sirens went off as I was going home. No tornados that I know off, but a lot of rain and wind. It's still nearly 60 degrees here.

Well, have a good day.
