Hi Trish and my OFF family:

Slept really late this morning ... it was almost noon. I got up first about 9 a.m. and went back to sleep. Next thing I knew, it was noon. Oh well, I was up late watching "Downton Abbey" Season 2. Such a good show! Don't tell me what happens ... I'm behind. Almost to the end of season 2. 

I will get to see part of the NFC championship before I go to work. Then I'll have to catch the rest by checking the game online. I'll watch the highlights on ESPN when I get home. Right now, I'm watching the Indiana-Northwestern basketball game ... not much on TV on Sunday. Can't wait for baseball to start.

Not as cold here as up north ... just 37 degrees. But it's supposed to drop into the teens the next couple of days. I have three days off this week ... two days to sit at home and unpack, one day to do something when I get paid. Maybe a movie ...

Talked to my brother Gary and Mom this morning ... Gary is bored and tired of sitting at home, although he did see "Zero Dark Thirty" last week and liked it. Mom is sore and her elbow is stiff and bruised ... I told her she must be diligent about doing her exercises if she wants to get it moving again. 

Anyway, my coffee is done and I should get into the shower. Connie, I'm glad you're feeling a little better. Vickie, hope Benny isn't sick. Judy, stay inside and stay warm. Trish, enjoy the football games. Carla, enjoy your trip planning. Almost forgot Annette ... how could I forget Annette? ... glad you are back here ... we missed you and your stories of Annie and the bunch. Glad Tom is doing better.

Eileen thanks for the thoughts. I am making myself do a few things. I need the germs gone!! Now it really is nap time!

I was on my way to sleep and my sister couldn't figure out her checkbook. She was at it over 2 hours. I had it all done in 10 minutes. She makes silly mistakes and very obvious as well

Well, gee, Connie, I can't figure out my checkbook either ... when I can't figure it out, I just go with what the bank says. That's why I'm always in trouble. Math is not my thing. 

Enjoy your nap ... put out a do not disturb sign.

Annie is at the TOP of my **** list!!!!!! Her antics have been beyond tolerable. I think she may be jealous that Tom is getting attention and not her.

She has peed on my stove (gross) to the point that it seeped down into my food cupboard. Everything but cans had to be tossed. I almost gagged washing canned goods and the cupboard in bleach.

So I barricaded the stove top. She then opened the cupboard and shredded everything with claws or teeth. I tied those cupboard doors together.

Then she got her little furry butt in all my dishes, pots & pans. Out with the bleach to wash every cupboard, dish, pot & pans. Those are tied up now.

The list goes on and on. I have considered getting rid of her but it wouldn't be fair to have another family adopt such a bad cat.

Thanks for thinking of me. I read but haven't felt much like writing.

Annette.....I love your Annie antics....you have always made me laugh. This time however.... I actually am going to agree.....she was naughty!! All that cleaning and tossing of good food etc.....I would have been so mad!!  I hope that is the last time she pulls something like that.

You are missed greatly so pop in when you can. A great place to vent if you need to!

HELLO EVERYONE!!!!!!!

   Sorry I've been gone so long. Hugs to each of you. I've been very busy with pet sitting and usually without a computer. I'll try harder to get here at every opportunity. Missed you all so much.

   Give me a pat on the back. I gained NO weight over Christmas. I don't know how that happened. My cardiologist said I was too skinny and to gain weight. My WL surgeon was not happy with that at all. He still wants me to lose more.

   Must run. Got to get back to the Border Collie, Desert, that I'm watching.

Hello Mag and welcome back!!  It feels like it has been forever since you were here. You have been missed!!

Glad the dog sitting is going well. Maybe it is time for you to invest in a laptop computer. You are gone a lot and I am sure you would enjoy it. Just a thought.
