Monday, Monday! (where did the weekend go?)
It is brr cold here too.
Tom's doctor called this morning and gave the okay for him to drive again. He was so excited, went to the store and bought his own OJ. Wow - I didn't think he knew where it was in the store. 
He said it was like being 16 and allowed to use the family car ALONE.
No support group meeting tonight. I love running the group but it feels good on the third Monday to have a night off. Plus I don't spend a ton of time on Tuesday writing and sending out all the notes.
Easy dinner tonight. The last time I made chili I froze it in smallish containers. Enough for one dinner and a lunch for Tom. Tomorrow I plan to use the frozen turkey carcass and make soup. The house will smell good all day long.

Hi everybody. It is great to see al of you back and posting.
Same story here. COLD, our high today was 11F (-12C) with -5 wind chill. I too am between two of the Great Lakes. About just across from you Nancy! I sure hope the Dismal Truck starts tomorrow at 4:30am so Bill can take me to have my surgery at 7:30am.
Tomorrow I will be hitting the table for the third time and I hope what they say about the third time being a charm is true. I had the band place on 2/25/09, had it removed on 9/4/12 and tomorrow, 1/22/13 I will be getting my sleeve.
I sure hope I have better luck with this tool as it is the last chance.
BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
