Where is everyone? It's Tuesday

Guess everyone is busy. It's 11:30 a.m. and no one has posted. It's supposed to warm up today ... already up to 41. I have a later night tonight because I'm doing the local rim shift ... kind of helping out with everything. Last night I was waiting for the football game to get done. Not quite the big game it was hyped up to be. 

Vickie, I hope your husband's knee surgery goes well. I am pleased with my left knee so far, although my legs still swell so much and by the end of the night I'm in a lot of pain. But I guess it's a process. 

Well, not much else going on. What's up with y'all?

I am having trouble with posting here from my iPhone. I can't seem to post the thread itself, and when I think I've replied, I find out later in the day that I didn't.

My Mom is nuts, and I'm helpless to get away from her. Today, out of the blue, she brought up a slew of arguments and stuff from an issue we had in October to something my husband and I did when my 34 year old son was in high school. All I kept saying was that stuff is in the past, and I haven't brought any of it since being here at my sister's. plus, I kept repeating I am not going to discuss any of that. Then she told me not to tell my sister what happened, because my sister is upset about me moving, and worried about my health.

All I've accomplished so far today is washing my hair. I feel so useless, and I hate it.

Afternoon...well I got Rick back to the dentist again...now he needs a crown!!! Great!!!!!!! That will be another $400.00 for us!!!!!!!! ****!!!!!!!!! I go in a couple weeks for mine and he goes in February for his. Dr will not pull it for him he said...so Rick is pissed. I told him if the tooth can be saved they WILL save it!!!!!!! So he is sitting here upset over the cost. What can I do about it? Just sit here and listen to him I guess.

We are having a January thaw here. It is 38* right now. We can actually see some grass now...they are saying we could hit 60* by the weekend!!! Just hope and pray that we don't flood!!!!! Then I heard we are supposed to get another snow storm worse than the ones we just had!!! Just great!!!!!! Sighs.........

Not much happening right now just taking it as it happens.

Eileen I had to get my Mam today!  I hate it but at least that's done!  It's the second day of my liquid diet, I'm not a happy camper.  Still here!  Have "fun" at work tonight.

Trish I now it is hard with family especially when their half nuts.

Judy we too are having a Jan thaw but, it was only 37 and tons of snow on the grass yet.  It should be gone here soon too though.

 

Ah yes, I remember the good ol' liquid diet. ... although I had the option of bars and soups etc. too. My big problem at the time was giving up caffeine. I think that hurt more than the liquid diet. But I did everything as ordered, lost 23 pounds before surgery and really need to start doing something again. Eight years (going on nine) out, I'm not doing so well. Too much has happened in my life the past couple of years and I haven't handled it well.

Don't ya just love having your mammo? Not! But I get mine every year. I'd rather get my boobs squished and get a clean bill of health than get a surprise.

Not much happening right now at work ... kinda bored. Waiting for a meeting story to come in ... just as bad as waiting for games to get over.

 

I did everything exactly as told the first time around.  The bad thing about  knowledge is you know why they do the liquid diet but, you also know the same can be done with a food diet.  I gained 14 pounds when I did the liquid diet for the band with no cheating.  I was doing a high protein low carb diet to lose before the liquid diet and the high carbs in it caused me to gain rapidly.

This time I ate and drank over my three week cruise and Christmas, gained 20 pounds.  So this time I am losing.

Eileen do you have support meetings in your area?  I know it helps me to go to ours, when I can remember to go.
