It's a Monday!

Vic that is sad news!! Now I thought he was going to retire??? Hopefully he can get this knee replaced and be good as new!!!! Will keep him in my prayers as usual!!

He IS going to retire this year.  Only, before he does, we're going to use his wonderful health insurance to get as many "problems" taken care of as we can.  So whatever operations, etc., he needs to be able to retire in good health, we're going to do them this year.  He can go on short term disability and still get 60% of his regular pay.  Obviously, we couldn't afford to do this before we sold the big house, but now we can.

And just FYI, our surgeon this morning said we were very wise to get the knee surgeries done before Obamacare screws up Medicare!  Dr. Holmes said that already, the gov't is telling him that he is doing "unnecessary" surgeries on people with medicare!  He said that in Butch's case, under the new guidelines, he would NOT be approved for surgery and he would be told he would just have to "live with it".  Unbelievable.  Really.  I don't know what we're all headed for, but I don't like it.
