Happy Christmas Eve OFF Family!!!!!
Getting some much needed laundry done and all I have left are the blankets and sheets....wooohoooo Not sure yet if my son and his family are coming or not so I am getting prepared just incase!!! Threat of ICEY Conditions for day after Christmas so not sure if they will come or not. If its bad I hope they don't try...way to dangerous!!!! Called Liberty Mill see if they were open today so Rick can go get some salt stocked up just incase. We might see some wintry mix today also. Not good!!!!!!
Still didn't make my cookies...oh well. Guess they will not get made. No cookies I won't eat them then if they are not around...lol. Got enough goodies from tenants anyhow. :-)
Supposed to go to one of the tenants tonight for a get together. That should be fun. Made some ham roll ups for my dish to pass. Not sure if I put enough cream cheese on them or not but they look good!
Rick's mom gave the gifts out to everyone that I sent. WTH??????????????????????????? She is having a Christmas dinner and they will all be there so why give them out already?????????????????????? She is a nut case!!!!!!!!! So much for a gift for Christmas!!!!!!!! Rick's brother posted photos on FB with them wearing the hats I made for them...LOL I made them in "rainbow" colors just for them!!!!
Well best get myself in gear and check the laundry see if that is done and I can do more loads...have a good day!!

Judy....I hope your son and his family can make it for Christmas. However, if the roads are bad they are better off staying put where they are!! That was great that Rick's brother posted pics of them in their new Christmas hats.
I am not doing a lot today. I need to go to the bank this morning. Then this evening I have a Christmas get together to attend if I am up to it. Just not in the Christmas spirit. I am supposed to go to my Daughter's in Bloomington tomorrow for Christmas. I will see how I feel and how the road conditions are tomorrow. I went there for Thanksgiving and drove home in an ice storm!!

Connie I finally got in touch with my son and he said just him and Renee are coming unless my mom changes her mind but said he would let me know for sure when we see what the weather will be doing.
Its 30* here and we are getting some rain...should change to sleet/freezing rain then snow??? We are under a winter storm watch til thursday morning so far. This storm sounds like a beast if you ask me....but mother nature could be nice and make it stop...hahaha
We are going to a Christmas party at Carol's tonight. I willprobablt invite her over for Christmas dinner tomorrow so she isn't alone. Might as weel have another as Pat invited himself over...sighs. So much for being ALONE for Christmas this year...hahaha

Connie, same for you with your daughter's tomorrow. I hope you are able to get there.
I'm just doing some last minute cleaning for tomorrow. I made two cookie trays so far for gifts. One for one of Utley's dog walkers. The other to take to my sis-in-law's sometime today. She is having an open house, and I hope to go sometime, depending on who takes me there. My sister and my Mom are going, I just don't know who is taking me, and when that person is going. So, cleaning and organizing, as best I can.
I have to go get a slipper on my toes that are sticking out of my splint. Problem is, Utley is asleep on my legs.
Must scoot.

Been busy with baking and shopping for tomorrow. I have 15 coming for Christmas. I'm so tired but so thankful for my wonderful family!

We are on our way to Michigan! We decided to go and see Phyllis an Jin for a few days before we went home. Ohylllis called yesterday and said come see me! I couldn't resist!
It was hard leaving my daughter this morning. I probably won't see her till late summer. She decided to try and buy a condo so they r looking. They r looking at buying a a two flat building and renting one apartment out. That will be like living rent free!
