Sunday Sunday. What's up?
Good mornin' ya'll.
It has been forever since I have even visited this site. I hope everyone is well and looking forward to a safe and joyous holiday season.
I have been at my sister's while she got her hip replaced. I am currently waiting at the airport for my flight home. I should have been home by now, but mechanical problems on our outbound flight yesterday had many of us staying at the local Best Western!
Our grandson will be home on leave for Christmas. Christmas dinner will be at our house, as usual.
Our daughter is doing well with her new divorce, even though her ex is still nutty as a fruitcake. I still get drunken texts from him occassionally.
next month I go get a new lap band. I sure home that will be my answer again.
everyone have a fantabulous day!
Hey Stranger!!!! Merry Christmas!!! Missed you and your posts!!! Wish you the best for the new lap band!! Why wouldn't you try the RNY this time instead? I know it works....;-)
Well it is now 19* here and feels like its 12* BRRRRRR Winter storm Euclid is on the way here for later in the week. Yippeee!! I do NOT like this weather anymore!! I hurt in my hips so bad it hurts to try to do anything!!! If I could afford to go back to Willoughby and see my pain dr I would get a few injections again!!! But no health insurance so can't afford to do that!!!
Last night just as Rick was getting into bed his new filling fell out!!!!!!! ****!!!!!!!!!!! Our dentist is off til who knows when....they are not open on wednesday so MAYBE he will be open thursday???????????? I feel so bad for my guy!!! He didn't eat anything chewy or hard to make it fall out...sighs.
Went to Bingo last night and I won $25!!! WOOOHOOOO!!!!! Had three different chances for the jackpot but ofcourse they didn't call my numbers! LOL
The sheriff was here to give the evicted tenant his court paper summons. He was not home but the sheriff left it in his door. I had Bandit out after Bingo and saw him looking at the papers....when I came around to his side of the walk I found the papers all over the ground where he threw them!!! I waited awhile to see if he came out to pick them up and he didn't so I went and got them before they blew all over the place. So we go to court on February 4th at 9:45am. So hopefully he will not be in court and we win with him not being there and he HAS to get OUT of that apartment!!! Then the real fun begins...cleaning it out of all his garbage and who knows what is in there with the smells and the nats!!!!!!!! Glad I am not the maintenance guys!!!!!!!!!!!!! GROSS!!!!!!!!!
Need to go to the grocery store for a few things seeing as we are now having MORE company than we planned on. Great!! LOL Atleast we will have something to do besides bug each other...LOL
Thoughts and Prayers for ALL that need them!!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

Well Judi. Lapband - $3500. RNY - $16,000. Soooo, lapband. The thing is I know the band works! I lost 125 pounds with it before my cancer. Then unfills, refills, leaks, blah, blah. Sleeve...did NOT work at all ever. So now back to the band!
Hope your sweetie gets some dental relief, you get some pain relief and you BOTH get some tenant relief!
have a Merry Christmas!
You don't have any insurance at all to cover it?? wow!! yeah i guess i would go with lap band if i had to pay myself...wondering why that sleeve didn't work for you?? maybe dr cheated you out of money????????
trying to find some filler putty but no luck for ricks tooth...even the pharmasist had no clue where to buy it...weird huh?
Merry Christmas!!!!

Good Morning Carolyn and OFF Family,
I deleted my first post because of that crazy blank space on the bottom, and reposted it hopefully without the blank space.
So good to hear from you, Carolyn. I had forgotten that you were helping your sister. My sister, sis-in-law and Mom have been helping me since I broke my foot on Thursday. I need surgery this coming Thursday, and I'm moving my belongings to Michigan on Saturday. I'm staying at my sister's till cleared to move by my apartment and start care with a podiatrist there. Praise God, I love my doctor here.
Today, my sister is bringing me a wheelchair, which I used a few years ago, when I broke the same foot, a different bone. I'll be able to scoot around the apartment getting ready for Tuesday, and my apartment is anything but ready.
Well, today, I'm just working on the apartment, getting it ready for Christmas dinner.
God bless everyone of you. Believe it or not I know He is blessing me.
Hugs and Love,
Trish

Good morning Carolyn, Trish and all my OFF sistas!
Well, hallelujah! We sold our house. The closing went through on Friday just as planned. I am both happy and a wee bitty bit sad. I'm gonna miss my beautiful big kitchen and master bath. But I'm not gonna miss the big house note, insurance and property taxes. So take the bad with the good, right? I think we can move forward now, which is the important thing.
Mom came back to Hilltop with us, and Carrie is here, too, so I am enjoying having all my loved ones together for Christmas this year. Got lots of good food planned for the next several days. Tonight we are having filet mignon with baked potatoes, salad, and hot French bread. AND we are having champagne! Two big bottles to toast the sale of our house! I can't wait.
I was able to read all the posts while I was gone, so I've been keeping up with you all. Trish, I'm so sorry about your foot. Good night nurse! You sure have been through the wringer with all this medical stuff this year. And Carolyn, it is so good to hear from you this morning. You have been missed. And I'm so sorry for all the troubles that Eileen is having with her mom. But I'm glad she got to go home for Christmas this year. There are more of you to comment on, but I'm pressed for time today. Butch and I are going shopping here in a minute.
Love you all very much!
