Hi everyone!!

Vickie you are not out of line!!

Dropped in to share a recipe with you all...

Roasted Chickpeas

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

2 Cans Chickpeas (Gorbanzo Beans)

1/2 -1 tsp olive oil

garlic powder

sea salt

cayenne pepper

Drain and rinse Chickpeas, put on paper towel and blot dry.

Spray cookie sheet with Pam, put Chickpeas on cookie sheet roast in oven for 30 mins shaking pan every 5 mins.

At 30 mins take the Chickpeas out of the oven and drizzles with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning. Shake pan to coat Chickpeas evenly. Put back in oven for 10-20 longer shaking pan every 5 mins till crunchy, be careful not to burn. Let cool and enjoy. These are delish!!! Use what ever seasoning you like they taste like corn nuts but are so much better for you. High in fiber and protien.

Thoughts and prayers for all,

Debbie

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

Getting on here late. Had PT this morning and boy, she worked me over. I know it's all supposed to help me, but after just the 20 sit-to-stand-ups, I was hurting. Then we did a bunch more, including the leg press machine, which was really hard. At the end I couldn't even do the leg lifts very well. I had wanted to do a couple of other things, but just stopped off and picked up a prescription through the drive-thru and came home. Had lunch, watched a little TV and finally had to take a nap ... slept for an hour in my recliner. Still tired.

Trish, we had lots of sunshine here, although it was cold today. I'm off ... not doing as much as I want to, just too tired. I think my body is worn out from six days of work and wants to sleep.

Trish, I was moving at New Year's last year ... it was not a good time to move. Hard to find movers or even people to help out. Good luck with that.

Tomorrow we're having a reunion of the folks who had joint replacements at the same time I did ... a little lunch at the hospital. Free food ... I can go for that. Plus a newsroom Christmas party. ... One at noon, then a second at 5 p.m. for the night crew.

Anyway, I feel another nap coming on ... this is going to make it tough to sleep at night if I keep nodding off during the day. Have a good one.

Eileen, sounds like your PT therapist pushed ya hard! Go girl, keep working at it.

Good evening OFF family, just bringing up the rear once again.

Woke up at 3am in pain due to the adhesions. Got up and took my neurontin with applesauce, sat up for about 30 minutes and loved on my doggies then went back to bed and did not wake up til 10am!! That was awesome I tell ya.

Tomorrow I will be getting up at 0600 to go babysit, mommy is doing a double shift tonight and needs to sleep. Hopefully the weather will be okay and I can take Holly out for a walk or maybe to the park.

Having a date night with hubby Friday, going to see Lincoln since soooo many people say it's a great movie.

Hugs and prayers for everyone in need. Debbie
