MONDAY! (I seem to have somehow missed the weekend...where did it go?)
Good Morning OFF Family,
Nancy, wish I had half the energy you do. Please get plenty of rest, but keep on keeping on.
Carla, your life seems anything but boring. Love read of all your travels.
Trish, Manhattan at Christmas is magical! When we lived in Connecticut we would go into the city just to see the window displays and of course Rockefellow Center.
Today I need to get busy wrapping. I have 13 more stockings to fill and time is a wasting. Maybe another batch of cookies for the grandkids.
Hugs and blessings to all, Sandra

Dear Judy:
Just a thought- maybe, instead of EXPECTING all negative reaction from your tenants, fill your thoughts with positive energy and EXPECT the majority of them to understand and react accordingly. Yes, there will always be those who, either because of a negative nature or because they truly struggle for every penny, will object. This transition of higher fees can be done easier with a gentle smile, a few words of understanding and calm demeanor. Your own negative expectations and resulting stress can be FELT by others who will then react in the same negative manner.
Please see my words, not as a criticism, but some words of experience and alot of deep studies. You might not be aware that I am also a Certified LifePath Coach.
*hugs*

Great idea nancy...I have already tried this and so far its a no go for these elderly mean people....I just smile and tell them its not my idea...infact I tried to talk the boss out of raising the rents!! Hard enough trying to rent at the lower amount and now this...can't win. I WILL keep TRYING I promise...
Thanks for caring!!

Good morning Nancy and everyone......
Nancy ...I get tired just reading about all you do. As I always say "you amaze me"!! So sorry for all the losses you have has recently because of cancer. That is so awful!
I am in so much pain today I can hardly walk. We got over a foot of snow. It was wet and solid. I had to go out and clean snow off my car last night. Twice I had to do that. It wasn't easy with a torn rotator cuff. I needed it clean for when the snow plows came through. I had to move my car then. It was drifted in over my knees. Between the walking out to the car in the deep snow and then brushing it off I can hardly move my body. I had too do nebulizer treatments (COPD) as I can't handle the cold. High today will be 12 again! Do you think my sister would help me...HELL NO!! She sat in her chair on the phone!!! One good thing, the plow driver remembered me from last winter. He plowed as close to the front of my car as he could and then shoveled in front of the car so I could move it. Bless him, I would have had to shovel myself!! There are no kids around here or I would have hired one. It is all elderly people here. Seems like all I do lately is complain. Sorry about that. Maybe I should take a break from here for a while.
Wishing you all a great day!! Prayers for many in need.
Love and hugs to all....connie d
Please don't think you have to take a break from OFF because you're going through a rough time right now. We all need each other here. Different people have different burdens at different times, and we encourage each other through the bad times.
We love you, and need you to keep posting here.
Love,
Trish

Sweetie,
Next time you need to whine, or cry, or just feel like life sucks, call me. I'm a really good listener. I have gone through my sucky times in my life, and got through them by whining, crying, or just dumping on a friend, or friends.
You have my number. I'm home most of the time. I care about you, and want to help you as much as I'm able.
Love,
Trish
