Good Morning Family,

I am exhausted this morning, and I have no idea why.  I did not stay up so late, and slept a lot this morning.  I keep falling asleep in my rocking chair.

Anywho, I have some organizing and packing to do in my bedroom today.  Friends are coming next week to help me, and I'm going to be asking them to store boxes in there.  I also have to sort stuff stored in baskets in my bathroom.  I'm going to be throwing a lot of stuff away.

This evening, I'll get to a meeting.  There's a really good women's meeting at 6:30 10 minutes away.  I don't like going to very late meetings at night.

I hope everyone has a blessed day.  Connie, I still pray for you daily.  Know that you are loved.  Nancy, I hope your doctor visit went well.  Praying for everyone,

Love,

Trish

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

Have fun packing ... at least you have friends to help. I had to hire someone. I'm still unpacking. At least I got some Christmas decorations up.

I really had a lot of difficulties staying awake last night ... I was in some pain, too, and still am. I took a pain pill and I hope that works.

Talked to my brother on Skype ... Mom still isn't doing well. He's thinking of making the mammo appointment for her. She can't stand up long for herself or sit on a kitchen chair for long. She obviously isn't feeling well. She isn't eating well, and if you knew my mom, you would know she was a good eater.

Anyway, I got to get into the shower and get myself ready for the day. Got to get into work earlier because I'm doing the front page ... we also have an office Christmas party tonight (downstairs in the conference room ... games and pizza for the kids, appetizers for the adults) ... free dinner!

Have a good day ... hope others show up. Don't know where everyone is these days.

Hello everyone!

I'm here, Eileen!  Just so busy running after Benny all day.  It's hard to find a minute to check email and post on OFF and FB.

We went to Wassailfest in downtown New Braunfels last night.  It was a beautiful evening--not hot and not cold.  The merchants all make wassail and compete for the best one.  It was okay.  Really, we weren't much impressed with most of the wassails we tried.  I like mine better!  LOL!

Then we went to Olive Garden for dinner.  They have that 2 for $25 promotion going right now and Chris wanted to eat there.  You know, I just can't hardly eat any of that rich saucy food anymore.  Just a bite or two and I feel stuffed.  But Chris and Benny enjoyed it, so that was good.

Got word back from my carpenter this morning that he finished the repairs to the stair case banister and a few other little things.  $770!  Whew.  Hope he has a good Christmas with it!  LOL!

Oh, well, as long as we close in two weeks.  Just 14 more little days to hold our breath and hope that nothing goes wrong!

Benny is a live wire today.  He's keeping me hopping!  C'mon nap time!  LOL!

Love you all!

Wassail is a hot spiced drink, very popular in Europe and jolly old England in centuries past. It can be made with wine or fruit juices. I will dig out my recipe and post it here. New Braunfels is an old German settlement here in the hill country. Hence, Wassail-fest! They also have Wurst-fest here. You and Rick would love it. About a million kinds of beer and all the sausage on a stick and oom-pah-pah music you can stand!
