Small Business Saturday What's Up?

Good Morning OFF Family,

Well, today is the day we are encouraged to shop at small businesses for our Christmas shopping.  Since I am broke, I won't be doing any shopping today.  I already support several local businesses.

I put up a small Christmas tree last night.  I got it, and miniature ornaments, at Target earlier this week.  I'll post a pic of it on Facebook later.

Today, I have my AA meeting.  Then, I have to go through a huge pile of papers that either get filed, or shredded.

Hi Everyone,

I am in Plantation Florida visiting my cousin and my friend. Today has me looking at areas and maybe a house or two. I want to move down here but it doesnt look like it is going to happen. The prices are just to expensive down here. 

they think money grows on trees down here. 

I am so sadden about our friend Aime Brayton. I first met Aime in Dallas when we had a get together in Dallas a few years ago before I moved to Florida. Then again in Pittsgurg. I hate cancer it is such bad disease. 

I am glad thanksgiving is over. I hate all of the food!!!!! It makes me crazy!!!!! Next year I think Im going to hide!!!!!

Morning OFF family...such a sad morning...first I see on FB that Larry Hagman passed away then come on here and see that Aime passed away...both had cancer.

Well its now 28* here and the snow is coming down! Yuck!!!!!!! Wind is also blowning out there!! So today I am going to put up one of the trees...not sure yet which one it will be. Home, club houses? Have three to do so need to get started. If I do the one for home it will involve moving furniture. Yippeee. The one in club house will involve tenants...think I will do the home one first...lol.

I am so tired of eating turkey that if we have it one more time I think I will turn into one!! Not sure what we will have today for supper. All I know is it will NOT be turkey!!! LOL

Need a haircut so bad so does Rick. Mine is so thin all it does is hang close to my head makes me look gross!!! Need some poof to it!! Rick's has long curls on the back of his neck...cute if he was a little boy...

Pat asked me to go to BINGO tonight..he said he would pay my way...said it would give me a chance to win some money to go home for Christmas. Thinking about it. Hate having him pay my way but then he wants a ride there and back...its way to cold for him to ride his chair there and back. I don't know. See how I feel after I get that tree up today.

Big football game today also...Ohio State plays Michigan...GOOOOOOO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sure hope Ohio State wins so I can tease my brother!!! LOL I made hats for his whole family for Christmas gifts this year...talk about being grossed out...lmao I hate Michigan colors...yuck!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I did it for them and I sure hope they like them!!!! Now if I could be there to give them to them and see their faces!!! Sighs.

Well time to get some clothes on to go outside for Bandit to go potty...I know he will be mad at me when I try to put his sweater on to keep him warm!!! He HATES that sweater with a passion!!!!!!!!! LOL

Good morning Trish and all my OFF sistas!

Just got off the phone with Butch.  We got to talk for an hour.  That always makes me feel better and feel worse all at the same time.  I miss him so much. 

So sad to hear of Amie's passing, even though I did not know her.  Cancer is the plague of our generation.  It seems to get everybody at one time or another.  Some survive it, some live with it, and some succumb to it. 

I've got so much to do next week.  It boggles the mind.  I'm glad Benny will have preschool on Monday and Wednesday.  And then Christie will be off either Tuesday or Thursday.  So that will be 3 days for me to get stuff done. 

I was telling Judy on FB earlier how beautiful the weather is here right now.  Sunny and mild and absolutely gorgeous.  I hope it never gets really cold.  San Antonio is really considered "south Texas" and although we're a little north of SA, it does run about 10 degrees warmer here all the time than it did in Nacogdoches.  Suits me.  I hate cold weather.  Really don't see how all you sistas up north manage it.  I think you all should move to Texas with me!  LOL!

Well, I need to go fix breakfast for all my little chickies.  Thinking about making French toast, even though I won't be able to resist it.

Good morning Trish and everyone....

I am at a loss for words today. I am just so saddened by Aime's passing.

I have to go pick up a turkey from a friend of mine. He smoked it for me.

I have a meeting/date with a new guy this evening. We have been friends for a long time. We were going to get together and then I moved to Iowa. We have kept in touch off and on.  I have had several dates set up and then I was so sick and then everything with Pam that I had to keep canceling. I can't cancel again. I sure don't feel like going but I will. He is a really understanding  guy so I know if I am not a ball of fire he will understand!

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

So sad to hear about Aime. I was shocked when Carla messaged me on FB this morning. Last night at work, we started hearing about Larry Hagman, but the Associated Press couldn't confirm it, so we didn't have a story to run. ... we don't run unconfirmed obituaries (we would get in trouble that way). 

Not much else going on here. Juliette is lying on the arm of my recliner relaxing. I will finish up my second cup of coffee and then get in the shower and have some lunch. We had so much food left from Thursday's feast, there was enough left for people to eat Friday ... I passed on it. I had enough Thursday. I still have some turkey left here. Not much, but I may have some today. Or tomorrow. 

Need to get packing ... will have to be all packed up by next Saturday when I move. Have to be out of here by Dec. 3. Can't wait to be in my new apartment. 

Well, that's all from me for now. Busy day at work today ... lots of pages. Have a good day.

Good afternoon OFF family and the Christmas Season is off and running. Haven't done any shopping yet but I'll tackel that one during the work week b/4 I go to work. Less crowds.

Got home last night from work. Hubby cleaned the whole house, rearranged the living room too. I'm so bless with that hubby of mine. He does spoil me but then again, I spoil him!

He also made homemade chicken noodle soup since my gut hasn't been feeling to great cuz the adhesion's. I brought leftover soup to work for dinner.

Debbie....I canceled everything I had planned for today. I am to stressed out and so saddened about Aime's passing. Going out was the last thing I wanted to do.

Wish I had a wonderful husband to spoil!!
