Nov 21: Today I am thankful for . . .
Today I am thankful to live in America, the land of plenty. I can go to the grocery store and buy just about anything I can think of--no shortages, no rationing, no empty shelves. Whether or not I can pay for it is another matter, but at least it is all available to me. I am thankful to have been born an American, and to live in freedom and with limitless opportunities.
Today I am thankful for my health, which enabled me to get so much done around the house. Plus, I was able to take Utley for a walk this afternoon. I'm also thankful for the good relationship I have with my children. There was a time when my mental health issues interfered with all of my relationships, especially my husband and kids. Since my husband left me, I have had some radical changes in my personal relationships, and my kids are in my life in a big way. Only God could do that.
