Good Morning and Happy Wednesday !!

Good morning  everyone....

I can't believe no one has started the thread yet today.  Hope everyone is doing okay!

Yesterday I took my BFF Pam to see her doctor. They decided she had a lower bowel obstruction. I then took her to the hospital. She was admitted. They did what they could and will decide today if they need to do surgery or not. I am waiting to hear from her and then I will go back up to the hospital. 

 Pam just called and things seem to be working. Hopefully no surgery for that issue. They discovered her gallbladder is enlarged and inflamed they may do surgery to remove that. She will call me when they decide what they will be doing.

I have nothing else planned for today. Still not feeling the best myself.

Surprised to see just you online, too. Hope all will be well with your friend, Pam.

My tummy is acting up today. I've already rushed to the bathroom twice. Hope the peppermint tea will calm it down so I can go to work. It usually works. I think it's just an IBS flare.

I can't wait for payday ... hardly have anything in the fridge to eat. Down to two frozen dinners and two cans of soup and some cheese. Luckily, I have plenty of coffee.

My brother's interview yesterday went well. Fingers crossed! Hope he finally gets a break. He really needs one.

Well, not much else happening. Back to work today. Got plenty of sleep last night. Hope I can make it through the night.

Hello Eileen....no news on Pam...they will decide in the morning which surgeries they will be doing. She has a horrible migraine headache today.

Hope your brothers's interview goes well and he gets the job!

Hello sistas! Guess the stress is getting to me big time. I've pretty much regressed to "see it, eat it". Not good but I only have 2more days to go. Pray for me please. I feel so overwhelmed today. I have to keep going. Love you all!

Hello Vickie....hang in there sweetie you are almost done....and what a relief that will be!  I am still sending prayers up for you!  Stop and take some deep breathes now and then. The eating will  straighten out after this is all done! No more running from house to house!

Hi Connie and OFF Family,

I've had a horrific 24 hours.  My car broke down in front of my apartment.  A friend's son tried to jump the battery.  That didn't work.  Had to wait for today to renew my AAA membership, and must wait till tomorrow to get it towed.  This couldn't happen at a worse time.  My rent check is late, and now will probably bounce.  

I had to scrounge a ride to get my cortisone shot in my back this morning.  I've been off Coumadin since Friday for that procedure.  Had to cancel my dentist appointment.  Got a ride to the ENT doc tomorrow, which it takes a month to schedule.  Had to walk to the pharmacy and grocery store for stuff, which wasn't terrible except the cold.  

I'm not sure how I'm going to pay for the repairs.  And, I need to see my family doc on Monday to get discharged from the accident so I can start to hope for the settlement money.  I have no idea how I am going to Christmas shop without it.

Pray I get that part time job soon, or the car is cheap to fix, or any miracle possible.

Hello Trish....so sorry about your car. Good grief when it rains it pours!! Hope the car isn't a costly repair. Praying that everything works out best for you!!

Hi Connie and OFF family,

Connie, ugh small bowel obstruction surgery is what I had 2 years ago and I'm still having problems from that. I need to have it again due to adhesion's but I'm holding off as long as possible, and thinking positive on that basis alone!

I had 5 days off work but was soooo busy taking care of my grandchildren cuz mommy had surgery for tubes in her ears and a deviated septum. I was glad to go home and rest when the little ones were down for their afternoon naps. Yesterday took her to GR to get her stents out of her nares with the 2 babies (1 and 2 yrs. of age). Today I stopped in for an hour to give her some relief and she napped on the couch. Ahhh...tomorrow's another day!

Hello Debbie....so far things are moving along...so to say...for Pam....but not by much.  They will decide on surgeries tomorrow morning. Hope it is just for her gallbladder!!

I pray that your DIL has a fast and easy recovery from her surgery. I had surgery for a deviated septum. I looked like a raccoon for a week!! It is wonderful that you are there to help.

Evening OFF Family!!!!

Well today turned out to be GREAT!!! Had 31 tenants show up for our Thanksgiving Dinner today!!! Excited that we had a good crowd!!! Not much left over either!! I opened the meal with first thanking them all for their thoughts and prayers for me while I was going through my ordeal...I got alot of applause and then I thanked them for coming and being here with us to celebrate this Thanksgiving and then I turned the prayer for grace over to one of the tenants...it was awesome!!! So we WILL have a Christmas dinner next month to celebrate the hoilday!!! Today made it ALL worth while to go through!!! :-)

Been going sine 530 this morning and I am soooo tired!!!!!!!! Never set foot in my office today at all except to put the mail in there on my desk. WOW!!!

I am still stuffed for all the good food...and I did NOT eat alot...heck the smells all morning made me full to start with...LOL

Well we have our maintenance guy here yet in the Man Cave having a drink...me being with not one but TWO rednecks...OMG!!!!!!!!! LMAOOOOOOOOOOO Need to go to the VFW tonight to sign the books for the weekly drawing tomorrow night. Looks like they are getting ready to come out now so we can go.
