Good Morning Off friends!

Its cold Here!   Guess its time to go dig out out a pair of those nasty old things called shoes.    I am sure I have a pair some where. maybe under the bed or hidden way back in the back of the walkin closet behind the  boxes  or  under the dresser.   Some place!   It seems like I had a pair of the nasty old things  last year when the white stuff was on the ground.   You know when my toes were in danger of falling off from frosting!   like now!   I am gonna go look real hard!     I hate hate hate shoe season!   I hate shoes!!

Yeah  ladies  I know I am weird!      Prayers going up from our house to yours!   Have a good Thursday everyone  even if you live in an area where you have to wear shoes!!1

Good morning Jo and everyone.....

Jo....I understand about the shoes.....I hate wearing them too. Although, like Carla, I have a hundred pairs. I always wear high heals/stiletto's as I am so short!! At home I am always barefoot!! Now I will have to wear warm socks in the house...UGH!

Carla....yup...I am a shoe addict too. Of course because of financial issues I can't buy them anymore. I understand what you meant about the cold/snow...LOL....you are so funny!!

I am not feeling very well today...my stomach is upset.  I do see my rheumatologist at 2:30. Hopefully something can be done for my pain and fatigue. Then I will be stopping in to see my friend Pam(If I am not sick). She finds out today if she will be having surgery.

I am wishing you all a beautiful day! Stay warm!!!

Prayers for so many in need....special ones for some too.

Love  and Hugs  to all......connie d

It was cold here this morning also! I hate the cold!!! And wearing shoes that keep the feet too hot!!! LOL

Still getting calls and stop ins from tenants telling me how good yesterday was!! Makes me feel really good!! Now MAYBE they will come to like us again....hahaha and with Randy out of the picture now and we have a great new guy (even if he is a redneck!! LMAO) things will finally fall into place for us all!!! (thinking tenants will also have more money in their pockets with Randy the mooch gone!!!)

Eating left over turkey etc today. Still good!! Have to remember to take our turkey out of freezer so its ready for thursday!! Ours is only a 10 pounder though! Love the smell of turkey cooking all day...mmmm good!!!

Showed apartments this morning and woman loved the one with the burgandy carpet in it!! Now waiting for the filled out application and police reports. :-)

Good Afternoon OFF Friends,

I guess we all belong to the barefoot club. I buy way too many shoes, but can't wait to get home and kick them off.

It's cold here today by Texas standards. Loved cold weather when we lived in Connecticut and Indiana, but that was 25 years ago and 115 lbs heavier. Cold most of the time now. But that's OK.

Connie hope you get some relief from the constant pain. Praying for you.

Judy so glad your Thanksgiving diner went so well. I'm glad you are being appreciated for all you hard work.

Need to get some wash done and the sink full of dishes washed.

Have a great afternoon.

Hugs and Prayers, Sandra

Hi Jo and my OFF family:

Not much time, just time to say hi. PT this morning and some running around. I have a pair of shoes ... my New Balance shoes that I wear daily, then I change into slippers for home ... either my sheepskin slippers in winter or my Birkenstocks in summer. And one pair of dressy sandals if I need them. My feet get too cold.

Got to get ready to go to work. Have a good day.

Greetings Jo and OFF Family,

Jo, you are not weird.  I despise shoes as well.  My feet were meant for sandals, or nothing.

God has answered some prayers for me today.  First, the tow truck driver fixed my car.  It was something stupid, so my only cost was the renewal of my AAA membership, which is good to have anyway, given how much I do drive.

Second, my daughter called to tell me that I can rent the house they have as a rental, which is within walking distance of their house.  Well, I can do it if I can get out there not later than early January.  First, she asked me to sit down with someone to go over the financial feasibility of me making the move.  I will be doing that with a couple from church that are good friends.  I've sat down with them before to try to make sense of my finances before.  My friend has to check her calendar.

So, today, I went to the ENT doctor for the new earache.  He is trying an additional medicine.  He hates having to keep putting me on steroids and antibiotics.  I hate that too.  My ex's parents drove me, and then they took me to lunch at the Olive Garden.  We all had the Soup, Salad, and Breadsticks lunch.  I'm so glad I did not burn any bridges with them.  They are good people, and she really helped my ex and I a ton when we were first married, and going to college after the kids came along.

I have tons of purging of unnecessary stuff to do.  I also have phone calls to make.  My kids tell me that I am a step away from qualifying for the TV show "Hoarders."  The phone calls are for the costs of moving and taxes, as well as tolls, for the trip and when I move out there.

Must get going.

Hugs and Love,

Trish
