Good Morning OFF Family,

I hope everyone is having a blessed weekend, and is healthy, or on the mend. I am still dealing with fallout from the sinus infection.  Mostly exhaustion.  The good news is the earache finally went away.  A month of that was enough.

Today is mostly just resting and recuperating.  I have some tidying to do as well.

Hugs,

Trish

Morning Trish and OFF family to come here yet today!!

Well my bleeding is almost stopped now!!! YES!!!!!! So I am going to take it EASY for the rest of the month now just to be safe!!!!

Shopping today for things we will be needing for the tenant Thanksgiving dinner this wednesday. Most of the heavy stuff is already bought so I don't have to do that. Decorating the club house tomorrow IF I can find some Thanksgiving things yet...seems Christmas has taken over everywhere you look!!! So if I can't find Thanksgiving things it will be Christmas things....

Got a nasty email from my youngest son last night...read it again and I now think it came from his wife. Makes me glad I no longer live in Michigan near them!!! The threats that were made...OMG!!!! I sent it to my oldest son and he agreed it was the wife that sent it to me. Well whoever it was needs to be locked up in a mental ward for the rest of their life!!!!!!!!!

Well best get ready for my shopping spree...love it when its not my money!!!! LOL

Thoughts and Prayers for ALL that need them!!!

HUGS

Trish,

Have you ever been tested for allergies? Constant infections sure are exhausting!!!

Yesterday I helped my daughter with their dogs while they went out of town for some activity with the kids. The two pups are getting enormous - German Shepherds. The two older dogs are not happy with the romping pups. I don't know how she manages with so many animals. 4 dogs, 8 cats, 1 bearded dragon and 2 Guinea Pigs. Plus two kids 18 months apart and a husband.

I'm going out to lunch with my friend Marcy in a few minutes so I'd better get moving.

Good morning Trish and everyone......

Trish .....I am so happy to hear the earache is gone!! That is a good step in the right direction. I am glad you are resting and relaxing today!

Judy....I would keep that email .....maybe even make a photo copy of it. That is horrible.... what the heck is her problem anyway?? Glad you talked it over with your older son. Maybe he can let your other son know what she did. She sounds vicious!! Enjoy your shopping but don't overdo. Hope you find some decorations!

Annette....hope you have a nice time with your friend today. As always nice to see you post today!

I am laying low myself today. I may go out for a couple hours tonight but I am not sure. I will see how I feel. There are two of my favorite bands playing tonight at two separate places. I would like to stop in and hear at least one of them play.

Wishing you all a beautiful day. Prayers for so many in need!!!

Love  and Hugs  to all....connie d

Hello OFF family!

Trish so glad to hear your earache is better.

Judy I would never think to write or say anything nasty to my mother-in-law. Does she not understand there's just some lines you don't cross.

Annette your daughter sounds like a girl I can relate to. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats...I would have more but my husband would shoot me. Too bad we don't live closer cause she and I could pet sit for each other. LOL!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Thoughts and prayers for all, Debbie

Good mornin' ya'll.

Trish, so glad the earache is gone. Hope everything is all better soon.

judy, by all means keep the hateful e-mail. Your family may need it later if you disappear! Just kidding.

My DH and I leave OR on Tuesday and head back to NC. I'll be happy to be back in my own bed for a few weeks. Sis has her hip done November 26 th and I'll go up to get her to and from PT for a few weeks. Flying, not driving. There is already snow all along my route.

Last week I began getting nasty textes from our ex SIL, again. Calling me names, saying he'd like to kick my DH's or son's a**. Not sure why. Saying he hates me and I encouraged our daughter. Bringing up our other son who doesn't talk to us. Accused our daughter of cheating on him for 20 years. Insisting he 'made her rich' and then he was kicked to the curb with nothing. Told me not to tell his son anything he said. He knows when he gets back his son will be 'on his side'. Two days letter got texts saying he might have said some stuff that was inappropriate. Said he wouldn't apologize, but again asked that I not tell his son what he said. Oh how I wish I could stoop to his nastnest, but I can't. I don't talk to the kids about their Dad. Except to say I hope he can find happiness and move on. And I truly mean that!! They are not stupid, they can figure him out on their own. But our grandson is becoming JUST like him. i won't elaborate, but he is in for a very lonely life.

Yesterday I turned 65!!! Woohoo! Medicare and Tricare for Life. I no longer have to pay for any medical care. If that arrangement doesn't get screwed up!!

Couple of things to get at the store today, then crochet the rest of the day.

Everyone have a fantabulous day!

Hi Everyone:  am home nursing tendonitis in right Achilles and pain in right knee ( spent the summer nursing left knee torn meniscus!) Always something wrong with my legs and feet...fed up with it!

Discovered this week that my own GP doctor is away until late November and earliest apt with her ( I booked) is 13 December!  Last visit with her she talked me into a 2 week trial of Cymbalta for my fibro and general chronic pain....I am at the end of the second week and feel it is starting to kick in and help a bit....so needed a prescription.  Wasn't ready to quit cold turkey and wait for her return mid December. So went to a walk-in clinic in the neighbourhood at 10 am and really lucked out...was seen immediately by the first available doctor who gave me a prescription for 3 months after I told him how I think it is helping pain somewhat at 30 mg, he said to increase after about  a month to twice a day ( so total 60 mg per day) and see if I get more relief...

I Googled him when I went home and discovered that he is my age ( 67) and has an interest in bariatric patients  and believes in bariatric surgery( I didn't tell him I was an RnY graduate as didn't know of his interest!)...He has excellent ratings on Rate your Doctor, and I will be going to the walk-in clinic when he is there for sure...I need someone like him, wish he was in private practice full-time instead of at a walk-in clinic where it is catch- as- catch- can for a doctor...

My own doctor is slowing down and retiring in a couple of years ( she's already warned me!),  and I have to wait a month or more now to get an apt with her so it's great to have such a doctor  as Dr. Eliosoff occasionally available at the Appletree  walk-in clinic close to home ( 3 blocks away) if I have something urgent needing attention..The fact that he is knowledgeable about bariatric patients is such a bonus and I really like him as he listens to you! He even took the time to check on one of my meds  (Cipro 500 mg, an antibiotic I use occasionally for my IBS and Diverticulitis, and cystitis etc., and possible incompatibility with Cymbalta, and came back  after going on the internet, saying it was minor and not to worry about it at the low dosage I would be taking even if I doubled or tripled the present low dose of Cymbalta ( not likely!)...Great to find such a conscientious doctor!
