Its a beautiful Sunday from Michigan

Hi Trisha,

I am a 54 y/o who is 6 mos out from WLS. I am just a few pounds short of losing my first 100 lbs. I have discovered a new life since the surgery. I work out now and lead a healthy lifestyle. My problem is getting the water in. I am working on it daily.

I am married and have an adult daughter. I love being an "Oma" to my 2 grand kids. I lost my job of 12 years last May and have had a difficult time time finding another one. But I enjoy my days immensely.

It was 70 degrees yesterday and today it's 31?????? Chicago weather is like that though.

I am from Chicago. My daughter lives on the north side in Logan Park and I get up there very often. We are coming in December for 10 days. I need to get my hair cut!!!!! So I am making my husband take me there for a daughter visit....

I told him if he didn't take me there by car I would buy a plane ticket and wouldn't come back to soon!!!!!

I fly up to Chicago on a whim several times a year.

Hi Jo,

Sorry I missed yesterday's post.  Also, sorry I couldn't get away for a visit with you when I was in Michigan.  I wasn't even able to get to an AA meeting.  Colleen has her hands full with the three kids now.  We were busy everyday.
