Whats Happenning Friday??
Morning OFF family!!
Woke up to another headace and lower back ache...called the dr to make my appointment for next week and said I was having some pain...she transfered me to the nurse...had to leave a message and now waiting to hear IF he will call in a script for this pain! Otherwise I feel ok...little loopy yet at times and cry some. Sister told me its the hormones acting up from the anesthetic so have to deal with it. Tenants do NOT get it to leave me alone while I am supposed to be resting!! Calls coming in left and right...do they leave a message? NO they keep calling back over and over!!!! Sighs...
Weather here WAS sunny but now its overcast and misting again!! GRRRRRRR Guys tried to clean the leaves up but its a no go now...tractor is spinning in its place...told Rick that would happen if not leave ruts!!! Heard there is another nor-easter coming for the east coast! Like they NEED that!!! OMG!! SO much destroyed and people killed and all...my heart aches. Even here in Ohio there is alot of damages and people still NO power!!! We lucked out everything is ok...some branches down is about all. Thank GOD!!!
Well Rick brought over the books for me and the rent checks so gonna go work on that.
Thoughts and Prayers for ALL that need them!!!
HUGS
PS Anyone hear from Loreen yet?? Worried about her!! Also Annette!! Anyone??????
Good morning Judy and everyone....
Judy.....sorry you are still having so much pain. I hope they give you something to help with that today. Too bad people won't leave you alone so you can rest. I don't know why they can't just leave messages. Not very considerate of them.
Pat....glad you can remove your heart monitor to shower. Two weeks would be a long time without showering. Yes you could wash up but that just isn't the same thing!!
I am laying low today. After my Chiropractor appointment yesterday I feel like someone ran over me with a bus. I see him next Tuesday and we are going to decide if this is beneficial to me or not.
I was proud of myself yesterday. I stopped at the store for a couple items. There was a huge display of Halloween candy 75% off. I grabbed two bags of my favorite things. I walked down the aisle then turned around and put them back. I bought more fruit and fresh veggies instead!
I will check back in later to see who else posts. It has been so quiet on here lately. I pray everyone is doing well.....especially those in the east where the storm hit so hard.
Wishing you all a good day! Prayers for so many in need.
Love and Hugs to all....connie d
Sorry to hear you are having a bad day. I have a heart monitor on for 2 weeks. I was glad to find out I could take it off to shower. I was really dreading that. Going to the gym today to stress my heart. No use having the monitor if I don't make the most of it. Hope everyone has a good day. It is still grey here but at least no rain for a change.
Judy glad to hear the weather didn't hit you to hard. We did better here too. I didn't lose more than just a few trees and the cable is being funky. They power never went out here and the DD has hers back too.
Connie sorry to hear the chiropractor isn't working out so well. Great job on putting the candy back. Bill just brought home a hugh bag clearance candy. Than say take any you want. ERRRRR. He really means well.
Pat good luck with the monitor!
I went to the club with the oldest DD, Sarah, today and did a water Zumba. My DH, Bill isn't to hot on paying the money to join as there is so much "free" work to do here. I did spend 2-4 hours helping him everyday this summer to lose the 50 pounds. I just hate cold, damp and dreary weather.
Have a wonder day everybody.
Hello PV......thanks for the kind words. I am just taking Vicodin and Flexeril and trying to get by. I pray tomorrow is a better day. I am glad I put the candy back. I would be sitting here eating it now instead of the grapes I am enjoying!
Good for you doing your water Zumba. The price is worth it if it makes you feel better! I agree I hate that weather too.

I agree but, I rather put the money towards and endless pool. My sister has one but it is an hour drive each way and with the price of diesel being so high. I would rather put that toward a pool too. I did great in my old above ground pool this summer as we had a long season this year and I got 10 weeks in instead of 8 and it was a big part in getting the 50 pounds back off.
Hi Judy and all of my OFF Family,
Well, my local family took me to dinner for my birthday yesterday. I barely touched my meal, as my pouch was being extra fussy yesterday. I've been having episodes of dry heaves a lot, and there is no rhyme or reason as to what sets it off. My sister gave me a lot of Philadelphia Eagles gear, like a garden flag, a thermal lunch bag, and one other thing I am forgetting right now. My sis-in-law and nephew gave me some neat yarn, a pair of Autumn dish towels, and some money. My sister also gave me money.
I went to an appointment with my pain management doc's nurse practitioner. My prescription plan changed, and I needed her to change my prescription.
This afternoon, I was heading to Villanova University, on the other side of Philadelphia to see my nephew play soccer in a Special Olympics Fall tournament. But, it started to rain soon after I got on the PA Turnpike, so I got off and turned around. On the way home, I stopped at an Amish Farmers Market here in town. The Amish travel almost two hours to sell fresh meat, lunch meat, produce, baked goods, and other yummy stuff. It's only open on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. I got some marrow bones, to boil and make a soup broth starter. I also treated myself to a ribeye steak. Yesterday, when I was there, I got some Stayman apples, which are hard to find, and are my favorite apples.
I need to get in the kitchen. It may be late in the day, but I want to start some of my homemade yogurt.
I hope everyone is having a blessed Friday.
Love to all,
Trish

Hello Trish......sorry you didn't feel well on your birthday. Sounds like you got some nice gifts!
Congrats to your nephew for being in the Special Olympics Tournament. That is just wonderful !!!
I love Amish food....their breads are better then any other!
Don't overdo in your kitchen tonight. Rest as you need to so you don't relapse.

Hi Judy and my OFF family:
Getting on here late ... did some running around this morning but not as much as I wanted. I went out to the bank, then to get my driver's license at long last ... but that took much longer than I expected because in Indiana, you have to take a written test (on a computer, though) ... even if your license isn't expired. So more than an hour later, I left with a temporary license. Photo is awful, but my hair is so long and that was another thing I wanted to get done (get my hair cut) but didn't. Then I went to pay one bill, waited there another 45 minutes (at least there were chairs) and was too tired to do anything else. So I just came home and ate instead of shopping or going out to lunch. My knee hurt so much ... how am I going to go to work next week? I hope I can feel better soon.
So not much else happening here. I am feeling better after lunch, pain pill and icepack. Hope everyone else is doing well. Have a good day.
