MY SURGERY

Had my surgery today and dr said it went good...make appointment for one week for checkup. Can't do anything for a week and lift NOTHING for 4 weeks!!!

I have a headache and lower backache...dr wanted to give me motrin but I said NO!! Can't have aspiring products! He told me to take tylenol which doesn't do anything for me!!! SIGHS.......can't take any sleeping pills til tomorrow night. But I am tired now so going to go take a nap again...THANKYOU FOR BEING HERE FOR ME!!!!

Thanks Debbie!  Not sure when or IF this headache will go away...think its stress....lots going on here and I am stuck in bed to rest!!! Gotta love it!!

Hello Judy....so nice to see this post. I haven't even been on Facebook today. That is where I see more of your posts.

I am so glad your surgery is over. Sounds like you are doing okay. I prayed for you today.  

Hope you can manage the pain. Why didn't he give you something stronger then Tylenol for a couple days? Tylenol doesn't work well for me either.

Hi Connie!!! Thabnkyou for the prayers!! My dr also held my hands and said a nice prayer before my surgery...made tears come to my eyes...like now telling you about it!!

As for the pain meds...he wanted me to take MOTRIN...I said NO!! Can't have anything with aspirin in it!!! So he said to take some tylenol...if I still hurt in the morning I am letting him know...Maybe Carol will give me one of her Vicodin for tonight....that might help.

Hi Judy, Glad your surgery is over and behind you. I know you were concerned. I can't take Motrin or aspirin because of the Coumadin and the gastric bypass, and I tell the docs that Tylenol doesn't do anything for me. I hope your headache is gone by now. I'm glad your doctor prayed with you before the surgery. I'm sure that gave you some peace. Take it easy. Love and hugs, Trish

Thanks Trish!!  No my head is still hurting today and so does my lower back. Called the dr for a script not sure IF I will get it or not had to leave a message as the nurse was busy...find out soon enough though.

Judy so glad your surgery went well. So sorry for your headache and lower back pain. Try a cold compress on your forehead and over your eyes and hopefully that will help. Take it easy!

Thanks Debbie! Just got my script filled that the dr called in for me...gave me vicodin...hope it helps!! Says I can take one every 4 hours...omg I will be out cold!! LOL Will try the cold cloth see if that helps!
