Good morning my beautiful OFF Sistas!

Up early this morning, getting ready to go to the airport to pick up my darling husband!  He called from Atlanta about an hour ago.  As always, I am thankful for his safe journey back to America!  Now all I have to do is negotiate the rush hour traffic in San Antonio--LOL!  I lost my traffic mojo years ago . . .

Vickie ....I can hear the excitement in your post. So glad you will be with your hubby soon!!

Yesterday I went with my friend Pam to go through some more of her mother's things at her mom's apartment.  Everything must be out by the end of the month. That is so sad as I remember when I had to do that for my mom. The reality that the end is near sets in. Pam is struggling with this as well as her MS. I am just happy to be there for her. We then went to visit her mom at the hospice center. She is failing more every time I see her. I just keep praying for her. She is in such pain and I hope her suffering will end soon. It is all just so sad.

Where is everyone? It's after 11 a.m. and I'm the third to post? Wow, people are busy.

I'm glad you're on the way to get your hubby, Vickie. I know that's always a concern for you. Enjoy your time at home.

Connie, don't overdo it cleaning out your friend's mom's apartment. You know you deal with chronic pain issues too. You can't give too much. I know you want to be there for Pam, but be sure to rest enough, too.

I did really well at PT yesterday ... got up to 107 degrees bent leg flexion, up from 90 the last time. I got to use the recumbent bike and went all the way around instead of just halfway as the therapist asked.  Hurt a lot when I got home but it was a good hurt. Not bad this morning.

Today I have a chiropractor appointment and then my PT at home. Not much going on.

Good afternoon Vicki & all. Well my son made it home last week. He  is now in NY to take Morgan in for a checkup. Also to spend time with all the girls. He will be there a few extra days. We have had so much fun. He keeps reminding me he is home forever, it's so hard to believe, he was gome 12 years.

Vicki, glad DH is on his way home,  Connie please be careful. Eileen, so  glad you are dong well, I can't imagine the pain. Have a wonderful all!!

Well found out today that our dear sweet Randy has a job....proud he is making $9 and hour!!! LESS than what he made here!!! LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO And he is working 2nd shift!!! No cell phone, no going to lunch for an hour, so many rules where he is at...LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a new man starting tomorrow and HOPEFULLY he works out good!!! One mistake and he is out the door!!! Have several applications in and interviewd a few today...so see if Jason works out or not.

Found out the VFW is having a Halloween party on the 31st. Yippeeee I have surgey in the morning...so do I dare go to the party?? Not sure.

Boss is coming tomorrow and we have LOTS to talk about!! Mainly about the BULLY tenant that is moving out!!! Seems she wrote a nice letter about us and boss wants me to share in the laughter in it with her when she gets here!!! SO Glad my boss and owner loves us!!!! These tenants are SO PISSED because Randy is fired....the fangs are out now for sure!!!! Do I care?? NO. They do not have to like us....nor do we have to like them. We take care of things here like we were told to do and all is well!!!! :-)

Time to lock up for the night...tomorrow is another day to post more.

Eileen, keep up the PT! Whhhoooo...working hard and moving and shaking those joints! Ugh! I too can feel your pain. The patients that are in Joint Camp here on 2 West motivate each other.
They are like..."if she can do that so can I"!!! Your doing it!!

So today in beautiful Michigan it was 77 out and sunny. I opened the sliding glass doors, several windows and my door to the enclosed porch/outside deck area. The dogs were lying in the sun getting a tan I tell ya! LOL

Okay so that gave me some motivation to pick up, sweep, vacuum and mop my floors, clean my kitchen sinks/counters and made everything smell like Pine Sol...hubby came home from work and called me and said I was a busy gal today. Ummm...my gut is kind of hurting now from all the twisting and picking up but tomorrow I go see my internist for my regular checkup. These adhesion's and scar tissue suck but I push on. Gotta go gals. Talk to ya tomorrow. Debbie
