Gorgeous Sunday with the Grandchildren. What's Up?
I'm still with my grandchildren an daughter. The kids are wonderful. Mom is bearable. LOL. I haven't been on my computer much while here, and for some reason, I can't post from my iPhone.

Well I have some sad news...my mom's dog had to be put to sleep wednesday. She was suffering with congestive heart failure and pancreatis something mom said and the dr said there was nothing more they could do for her...Sassy was a good girl...rescued several years ago and then given to my mom when she needed a new dog to love. Both mom and brother are heart broken over their loss of Sassy. So am I. I let the former owners know last night and they are also sad to hear of her passing but happy that she was blessed to have mom and Bill take her and love her like they did.
Tomorrow I go for my pre-op testing. That is at 9 am. Then after that is all done I will get my time for surgery on the 1st. I want to get this over and done with!! Got a bill in the mail yesterday that should have been covered so now I need to make a phone call and have my case worker take care of it.
Made a meatloaf for supper last night...omg it was sooooooo good!!! Haven't had one in maybe 2-3 years!! Rick hates hamburger meat!! He tried it but not much of it...grrrrrrrrrr said it was good...yeah sure how could you taste it? Not much missing on the piece he took!!! He said he could...yeah sure!! His loss...Today IF it thaws out in time I am making a beef roast with carrots and potatos and onions. :-) THAT he LOVES!!!
So that is about it for me today...just making hats for family and friends for Christmas gifts. Not seeing a trip home this year with us not having a dependable maintenance guy here. New guy sure isn't very dependable!!! The ONE thing the jerk Randy was...dependable to be here every day on time!! Hopefully we will find one soon and he works out good!!!!!!! And NO we will NOT hire him back!!! NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rick grumbles he has no help now has to work alone...well excuse me!!! I have no help doing MY work...And right now HE doesn't have that much work anyhow...he is mad because he got a couple calls late at night this weekend one for a lockout and the other for a stopped up toilet that he can't get unplugged!!! He wanted me to call the guy to come snake it out last night...I told him he could try again in the morning if this woman has a port a potty to use!!! So I won this one!!! Can't send a guy to do a repair if he has been drinking all day watching football!!! GRRRRRRRRRRR told him before he can't drink like that and expect to be on call!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had to pull rank on him and he didn't like it. Oh well!!!!!!!! He will get over it!!
Well time to get some breakfast and then off to the store for a few things. Sorry to rant today.

Trish, I'm so glad your trip with your Mom is working out well. Enjoy your munchkins! I know they are thrilled to have you there.
Judy--I don't know what to think about your maintenance man issues. But I agree. Randy is gone now and needs to stay gone.
Well, I am up and waiting for my weekly phone call from Butch from Saudi. Last one today. He'll be home on Wednesday. Thank God.
I woke up with my headache again today. There just must be something in the air here. I'm learning to live with it.
Chris is off today, which means I have a day off from babysitting, too. I sure do need it. I am wore out this week.
Not sure what I'll be doing after Butch gets home. I know we'll stay here through Halloween. Can't miss Benny's first time to go trick or treating. After that, I imagine we'll head to Nacogdoches for awhile. Got to check on the house, pay the yard man, and Butch will want to go to his deer lease. I need to go see my doctor about my low pulse rate, and also go see my gyne about that ablation procedure. Don't know if I'm going to have that done or not, but maybe. I need to talk with her first. Haven't had a period since that D&C last month, so I don't know what to expect.
Well, not much news to tell today. We live a quiet life when Butch is gone. Love you all!

Not much happening here. I will have to call the dentist tomorrow. I broke a tooth or two last night while sucking on a piece of sf hard candy ... you know, you get it to the end and chomp down ... well, I felt something break and thought oh no, it's a tooth. I think it's one on top and one on bottom. Which will make five or six teeth I've had fixed this year. Luckily, I put the max in my dental FSA.
They are going to blacktop the parking this week, so I had to move my car. I did it early today so I got a good spot and didn't have to walk far with my walking. Fortunately, the weather is nice. It was cold last night, and my heat doesn't want to turn on. ... It clicks on and stops. It's supposed to be nice enough this week, but I will let the office know now.

Judy, I love meat loaf. Haven't made one in a long time. Good for next-day sandwiches too.
Anyway, I'm jus****ching football and I'm going to take a shower. Hair is itchy and I need to get clean. Have a good day.

I went to be with friends and watch the VIKINGS WIN!! It was a good game.
I am still not feeling well since my issue Tuesday. I am just worn out and feel kind of sick to my stomach yet. Strange huh?? Guess it must me from all the meds and stuff they were pumping into me to get me breathing again.
I am going to relax the rest of the evening. "The Walking Dead" is on at 8:00!!! I love that show!! Early to bed after that.
