Rise and Shine Monday
I'm up early because I have to take Benny to pre-school today. Been a long time since I've had to set my alarm to get a little one off to school.
Woke up with another bad headache. This is getting old. Took a tramadol at 5 a.m., a hot shower at 6 a.m., and now I'm drinking a ProJoe. I think I might live. LOL!

Vickie....Sorry you are dealing with another headache today. I have three other friends going through this same thing. They can't seem to get it figured out why they are having constant migraines. One friend is having an MRI this week. Hope you feel better soon!!
As you must all know by now the VIKINGS lost yesterday. It was fun watching them play anyway. I was exhausted after the game. I came home and went to bed early.
Today is my prep day for the colonoscopy I am having tomorrow. Liquid diet today. We all know the prep is worse then the scope. I have no plans to leave the house today!!
My sister left at 9:00AM to go for her check up in Rochester, MN. My niece took her. They won't be bac****il later tonight.
I will have the day all to myself!!!

I tried to get on OH yesterday and it kept kicking me off. After 5 times I gave up. Today it only kicked me off once. Don't know what the problem was.
My friend, Maryann, from Indiana is coming down for a visit at the end of the month. It will be great to spend time together. She is staying for 2 weeks.

Vickie I too am plagued with headaches, sinus headaches and migraines. Between hormones, stress and weather pressure I have 4-5 headaches a week. Not being able to take Advil is so hard for me...that was my go to medicine. My pain pills work sometimes but not always. I feel for you!!
Connie hope you can enjoy your day by yourself. Good luck with the colonoscopy!
Well I think Steve and I are going for a bike ride...maybe that will help with my head.

Hope everyone gets over their headaches. I had one yesterday morning, but we were having storms. Today is bright and sunny and my headache is gone. The only pains I have are in my left knee and my back.
I had a rough night sleeping ... woke up twice in pain, got ice and pain pills, watched some DVR'd shows from Sunday night until I could go back to sleep. Got up again finally about 8 a.m. and was greeted by my sweet Juliette with kitty kisses. Guess it was time to get up!
My physical therapist, Debbie the Destroyer, is due sometime between 12:30 and 1 p.m. ... hope she's kinder today than she was last Monday and doesn't overdo it. I think we're supposed to practice walking to the car and getting in and out of the car.
I've also been calling around to a couple of people to get some help with packing/cleaning for when I move from this apartment to wherever I move next. One woman is very reasonable: $10-$15 an hour, plus she gave me a mover's name. Now I have to get an apartment set up.
So a bit of a busy Monday ... tomorrow I go back to the doctor. Still don't see how I'm going to go back to work at the end of the month. Body doesn't feel ready at all.
Anyway, guess it's time to get dressed and ready for PT. Have a good day.
Afternoon OFF family!
Well it sure was a weird day today!! New guy we hired that was off sick all last week...said he would be here today...no show no call!!!!!! Rick called him...I called him..no answer. Left messages to call us back!!! Nothing....We are pressed to get these empty apartments up and ready!!! No help here at all!!! Rick is upset ofcourse...said he was going to call asshole back!!! I said LIKE HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So this afternoon in walks this man asking if we were hiring for maintenance?!!!! YES!!!!!!!!! I gave him an application and told him to fill it out and get me a police report ASAP and we would talk. He did just that!!! We interviewed him and I called Robbie (boss) and she said Hire him!!!!!!! So we did!!! She said to call the other guy and leave him a message...AGAIN and let him know we no longer need him!! Mind you he was on 30 day trial period. So I called and again got the answering machine. Left a message that because he didn't call us we no longer needed him and not to bother coming in again. So about 1/2 hour later the phone rings...its his girlfriend calling back. Seems she was in a car accident this morning. Please don't fire him....ummm why can't he call???? If it was her in an accident why didn't HE call and explain the situation to me? Atleast we would have HEARD from HIM and would have understood!!! But its a little late now...sorry. Guess he wsn't that interested in this job after all!!! He was in the Air Force and KNOWS rules...now why didn't he use good judgement??? Sucks. Oh well we now have a new man starting tomorrow again and this one is an older man and KNOWS his maintenance VERY well!!!!!!!!!
Found Rick's birthday cake today!! LMAO he wanted a Scooby Doo cake and he IS getting one!! LOL He better like it too!!! $20.99 for the darn thing!!! Still need to finish wrapping his gifts...omg just so darn busy today I didn't get to it!!! All in my office waiting for me too!!
Well time for supper so need to get going here...thoughts and prayers for all that need them!!!

PS found out last night my sister is fighting congestive heart failure...finds out today if she will need a stent put in. Prayers please...thanks!! HUGS
Thankyou Connie!! Just heard from my sister...she had 2 stents put in!!! Dr had trouble getting it to go through access vein as it was completely closed up!!! She goes back Nov 19th to have dye put in and see if it goes through...she is still going through dyalisis 3 times a week. Thanks so much for the prayers as she needs them so much!!!
Yeah that is what we thought also!! His girlfriend is in the accident and yet SHE calls me back?? WRONG!!!! The new guy seems to be just what we are looking for...keeping fingers crossed he is!!!! Rick is so worried about this place while being with me when I have my surgery on the 1st.
Wish I knew how to post pictures on this new pc...grrrrrr

I overslept this morning and had to run and get gas, get to the bank, and get Mom to get on the road to Pittsburgh. We had on again off again rain all the way across the state. It wasn't heavy downpours till we had Sean in the restaurant for his birthday dinner. He was thrilled with the dinner, and also with the fact that I brought him a homemade birthday cake from home. I did use a box mix and canned frosting, but it was made in my kitchen, and tasted moist. Yes, I had a bite.
Mom beat me as Scrabble again. At 86, she is a whip with that game.
I forgot to put on my support stockings this morning, and my ankles are all swollen. I'm hoping my back-up pair are in the suitcase in the car. I'm kicking myself.
Hopefully, I'll check in before we get on the road tomorrow. Tomorrow, I get to see my Munchkins, and Mom gets to meet Franklin, or Frankie as I call him. He's five months old.
